Definitely... but I found that totally amplifying the image, and looking at the eyes through the 'letterbox' I detected a trace of softness and affection that belies the guarded sterner expression of the portrait in its totality. Perhaps I am just deceiving myself!

Disturbing for me…very nearly a portrait of a recently past 6 year relationship with the only material difference being in my case she was 4’-11” and Japanese.

Softer referring to the focus? 'Cos fuck me ever loving inscrutable boots, I would've sided with Tracy until I amped the image all the way up, and gazed into Kimmy's eyes... Do we ever know anyone... even ourselves? That look is as good as a slight inclination of the head... as far as I'm concerned!
