Naturally, with the longer script than usual, there was also a lot of artwork for me to do, and I also ended up going back and improving some of the older art too.
So, here's a recap on the update:
As you already know, this is an update for one the most popular characters, Ellie. As the feedee side of this game has been so well received, I wanted to do something special for it and go all out with this aspect!
That means that we will be pursuing a character creation system which includes the selection of body-type and some other physical features to give players the chance to see their own body as it grows larger throughout the course of the game. This feature will come in further down the line and is not included in this update, but there is a scene where the player sees their own body. Although there is only one 400lb version right now, it already has breast variants for male/female and more variants for body parts can be added further down the line.
When trying this one out, do experiment a bit to see everything!
- Your choices matter a lot in this update, and will continue to do so in future Ellie updates. To see every scene, you will have to try a few different things. The main two paths for Ellie depend upon whether you choose to be her feedee right off the bat, or if you play a little hard to get. There is also an important decision involving some cake...
- This update really delves into dominant feeder personality of Ellie that we all know and love from her debut in the The Feeder comic. Only now, thanks to the wonders of Ren'Py, you will get to interact with her how you like, and she will cater her feeding sessions towards you. She will give you a choice on what kind of dom you'd like her to be: Mommy, Mistress, or Doctor. You'll get different lines from her depending on which you pick, and in later updates you'll get different scenarios entirely. You'll also get the chance to rebel and misbehave, but prepare your self for some light BDSM content if you do this! Ellie doesn't tolerate disobedient piggies...
Tarova has also been working hard on the inventory system in this update! After I hit a roadblock, he has managed to implement item stacking. There are a couple of bugs with it (see known bugs below), but now that we've overcome this obstacle we will soon be able to add item shops to the game! As for this month's updates, I we will be aiming to get them out by the end of the month so that we're back on track. As I hope you can understand, the next Meal Tier update will have to be a bit smaller than this one though. That said, I do have a little bonus content planned for Leilani soon!

- Changed the way the phone works to support multiple characters messaging the player (there may be bugs with this).
- Ellie's story now continues into a second date at her house, which can go different ways depending on choices made by the player.
- Loads of new placeholder backgrounds and props have been added for this storyline.
- A bunch of new poses for Ellie.
- Several new sound effects have been added to go with the new storyline.
- Created a simple system which allows the player to see their own body in certain scenarios, which in future will change depending on attributes defined in character creation and by they PC's weight. Currently, white male/female at 400lbs is used.
- Reduced the amount of weight and eating ability gained from eating the "weird" breakfast in the morning.
- Fixed an error in Ellie's dialogue.
- Edited and improved some of the old Ellie sprites.
- Item stacking is now functional, so the player can stack items in their inventory.
- Added an option to options.rpy so that game saves are saved in a rpa file.
- Fixed a recurring visual bug where the text did not align with the item description box.
- Fixed a Wanda feeding bug that came from item stacking implementation.
Known Bugs:
- Skipping through the Autumn encounter too quick will cause her mouth to appear in the wrong place temporarily.
- Using the inventory arrows can cause the stack numbers to appear/disappear. The temp fix for this is to open and close the inventory.
- Inventory does not function correctly when reloading saves or starting a new game. Be sure to close the game and start a new one before playing around with it.

We suspect that this bug may be due to another issue with the inventory system, which has a fix that will be in the next build.

On Android version keep getting endless exceptions when I try to reload save files

Okay, I have found the issue. Basically, there was a line in the code that was used to prevent Ellie from texting the player with that message immediately after the date instead of on the following day. This line was accidentally copied into the next part of the script when Ellie sends her reply. Rather than rolling out a build just for this issue, the fix will be included in the next main build as you can just use the phone button in the UI to advance the conversation for now. Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention!

I'm having a similar problem on Mac--it tells me the next morning that I have a message from Ellie but it doesn't show me the message regardless of what choices I make the previous night.

So its the response message of ellie after telling your free or not, and everytime i try different combi still the respose of ellie after the players chose comes the next day

Female some variations, With and without breakfast, walked by autum, give compliment, had me at all you can eay, go on date, eat all, special coffee, yes, both one and two pils. Same thing happens every time If i chose im free, but also if i chose not free the message (sorry youll miss wat i hade planed) wil come the next day. Ps is i remove and reinstall the app every time the app crashes at the first boot (previous versions it didnt)

What choices do you make and what messages do you get?

Next morning the messages from ellie dont match, then continue the day and the next day the response from ellie comes up to go to her. But she's not triggering when moving to there? (android)
