It's less that Endurance artificially lengthens lifespan and more that it strengthens the body's resistance to harm, which incidentally lengthens lifespan. So a person will have a better immune system, which means they won't die from disease, and they'll have a strong enough body that something regular like a fall won't kill them, either. Now, as the years go on, their body still continues to get more and more frail, but Endurance effectively just pushes that lethal amount of frailty out further. So in Erani's case, if she has an extremely high Endurance from a the Bond at some point and lives to be, say, 200, then leaves the Bond's radius, she wouldn't die on the spot, but would rather instantly become much more susceptible to disease and other effects. And, of course, she'd probably have to deal with the shock of having a lot of strength leave her. It could be possible that, if that shock was bad enough for her to fall over while being so old, she could end up breaking a bone or something, but it wouldn't likely be anything like instant death.

Actually, there is one thing I have been wondering about. Endurance as a Stat increases someones lifespan, right? That was what King Koinkar had done after all. Then, what will happen once Erani gets older? Sure, it will probably take a hundred years or so, but won't it reach a point where she can't leave the effect of her bond with Ainash or she will just drop dead on the spot?

Kinda sad Arlan didn't take the [Soul Bond] upgrade for Sanguine Bond... Now, I don't want him to become a slaver/blackmailer. That part of the Upgrade is not what I would want from him. However, there is the distinct possibility that the level 20 Upgrade for the Spell would have an option that allows him to Invert the effect, making it so that he can Bond a target, and then offload some of his resources to them. And, sure, it wouldn't even be very good at his current level since his regeneration is not TOO MUCH higher then normal. But with his growthrate? Give him a few more levels worth of Stats and it will only get increasingly harder for him to actually run out of Mana because he simply regenerates it fater then he can ever use it. Being able to give some of that to Erani and Ainash? It would be an absolute game changer! It would also be the most reasonable path for him to that kind of ability. I mean, I already did the math for his regeneration back when he just got exponential reclamation and it was absolutely insane. And that was BEFORE he got EVEN MORE Stats per level due to Recycling Loop...

Haha thanks! Yeah, I felt like things had been really high-stakes/stressful for a while now, so I wanted to give the characters time to breathe and develop the world/relationships for a bit. Glad you're enjoying :)

Honestly I'm pretty happy with the pacing of this story. I started binge reading it like a week or two ago and subbed because I caught up exactly on the chapter where Xhag killed him the first time. I think the events that happened were suitably set up and the fight against Xhag was well written. This also feels like the perfect time to have slower paced chapters. I guess this is just my long winded way of saying thanks for the story. The main character is a psychopath and I don't like him but I do like the story overall.
