The grindset mindset of litrpg protagonists is practically a trope of the genre, the only one I know of who takes personal time is Alden Thorn (SuperSupportive)! Will be interesting to see if Zeth manages it!

Beeees!

That makes sense. Adding negative percentages is how you break many games lol.

I was thinking it would help him to take some sort of rogue class, seeing as his dex increase is pretty good now and he needs to be extremely subtle and careful, it would also fit with his need to be able to defend himself in melee. Depending on how you flavor the rogue class, you could also have it give him influence stat which would go towards fixing his demon fear problem.

I think the town meeting is for the inquisitors to go through everyone at the same time to find the blood mage. They were already scheduled to come and the verified demon prison break should have moved it up.

I mean the town meeting will have a Mayoral Replacement as was already conveyed explicitly to our MC. Also, with Shaping: 49 and increasing in jumps, he MUST take a good Magic class as his second class - it would be also be very good cover. A crafting based Magic Class would make sense. Either that or some sort of illusionist class, so he can "hide" or "misdirect" the visible effects of Blood Magic.

He's had a paladin go 'there's something fishy here', has a 'not quite confession' from his comically evil ex-boss with clear blood magic ties, strong reasons to suspect there's at least one other blood mage in town... If he walks strait into this one it's Darwin award worthy. That doesn't mean it's not worth checking out so he at least knows what's happening, more of a 'maybe keep an eye on an escape route and don't walk into the giant glowy circle'.

Is he delusional? Of course the town meeting is bad news. He lives in one of the worst places in the country. And his prime suspect for the Blood Mage told him he will be the new mayor ;D

Generally speaking, if a percent modifier is decreasing something, it multiplies, and if it's increasing something, it adds. You can see that in the skill description here, where it says "plus 2% more." I might change it to say "plus an additional 2% more" to ensure this is clear, though.

Ihsan Gunay

Do percentages add or multiply for non-discount effects?
