Thanks for catching that error! As for your second point, I'll give it some thought. Without revealing what exactly happened, I'm still glad you shared your viewpoint. And you're always welcome to share preposterous theories! Though, since I'm pretty tight lipped on spoilers, I'll admit there won't be a lot of stimulating conversation to be had XD

Just one tiny grammatical mistake that I saw: [When she joined her friends her dinner, it barely took them five minutes . . .] Beyond that, I'm mildly concerned about one moment in the final scene. When Amara notices a flash of light, I assume that was from a camera flash from a person who saw what they assumed to be a monster destroying the remains of the Jade Palace. If I'm wrong about that (or for any other reason, your autonomy on this project is very important to me), please feel free to ignore this point. However, if it was a flash from a camera or a phone's camera, I feel like Amara would recognize that from her photography background and feel alarmed that somebody had seen her. Of course, there are many reasons why a flash of light wouldn't bother her, so this is certainly not a problem, and it certainly doesn't need to be "fixed." Overall, this is another great chapter! It's great that Amara is enacting plans that will take some time to fully understand, like why she recorded her special tutor session with Mr. Luxnor. I also love that Amara's powers are still developing, and while I have a few half-baked ideas about what these new ones do, I'll hold onto them until they don't seem quite so preposterous.

Nyx, It was just a suggestion. Play with it. If you don't like it, don't use it. Speaking from personal experience, I've found that I may not always take suggestions exactly the way they were given, but those suggestions have often given me new ideas that enrich my narratives. I trust your instincts, but I also want to honor the spirit in which you've set up your Patreon.

I can defintely add some more connective tissue at the end of the first scene. I was initially trying to keep the shape change as a surprise for the start of scene 2, but there's no real reason for that.

Upon rereading the passage, I see your point, but in that passage, Amara does more than "Change her clothes": "She grabbed her bag, threw it over her shoulder, and began running back to the main campus. She took a quick detour back to her apartment, changed her clothes, threw on a long jacket, and hoped she would be the only student taking advantage of office hours today." You might want to take additional advantage of her taking on Kylie's appearance at this point. The feel of her large breasts (does she have back pain?). Does anyone recognize her when she walks across the campus towards Prof. Luxor's office? This might put some additional tension or drama, the fear of getting caught or the excitement of being someone else, like the thrill you get being unrecognized at a costume party.

I tried to explain her outfit towards the beginning of the second scene, when she removes her jacket. Would adding more detail to that paragraph help? (It's the one that starts with "I don't think you understand, professor.")

In the 23rd paragraph, you wrote "Derek" instead of "Nick." as follows: “That’s the weird thing, I can’t find any answers. I’m seeing a lot of vague references to playing the stock market, but nothing tangible. The only thing I can tell for sure is he didn’t inherent it, his parents were relative nobodies.” Derek sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose before rubbing his eyes. “Maybe we’re coming at this from the wrong angle. What was his girlfriend’s name? Stacy?” Otherwise, I see no major errors. I was a little confused about Amara's clothes when impersonating Kylie, but you did explain it near the end of that segment. You might want to consider a sentence or two as a buffer between the scene with Nick and the Luxor's scene to orient the reader.
