Yeah, YouTube is just a nightmare now for most content creators. You can't really get a straight answer on where their lines lie. It's a lot like filmmakers trying to work with the MPA: they're happy to lay down rules that you're not supposed to violate, but they're obtuse about where the goal posts are. I don't know how the creators who focus on NSFW content deal with YouTube. It has to be a nightmare. Whatever decisions you make about YouTube content, I suspect the bulk of your Patrons here will support you. Keep your chin up, and don't let YouTube grind your enthusiasm for creation down!

Absolutely! I will make a note of this in the post above. I never planned to stop posting flirty content; I just brainstormed a bunch of wholesome ideas that (I hope) are YouTube friendly so I have a batch to work with. I should have been more clear. And thank you! That audio was fun to record. I'll be sure to post more like it.

It's a tough battle, but I think I'm done fighting. Actually, I was never really fighting to begin with. I was only ever frustrated. It can be demoralizing, but I'm grateful that my entire channel has not been demonetized. In the meantime, I will work within YouTube's guidelines on YouTube and post spicier content here on Patreon. That's actually what I believed that I was doing. It's just that I still don't know where YouTube draws the line. A few kisses and I'm demonetized.

If I might make a suggestion: you could consider making the slightly spicier audios Patreon exclusive content. While it's true that most of us are perfectly happy with your wholesome content, there is genuine value to the slightly spicier audios. They don't go into the realm of pure smut, so they fill a nice middle ground that not a lot of creators manage to nail. That slightly yandere cuddle audio is legit one of your best in terms of performance and balance between wholesome and spicy. It'd be a shame if you didn't do more because YouTube is increasingly hostile to smaller creators.

I listen to a lot of channels that deal with everything from creepypasta to world politics. The problem is not your video being slightly spicy. YouTube is definitely the problem. The platform has become more and more puritanical, and they selectively demonitize. If you're a mainstream outlet, you get to stay monetized regardles of the subject matter of your content. If you're a small creator, they'll hit you with the yellow mark indiscriminately. I have no intention of even attempting to monetize my horror story narration channel. There's no point. YouTube guidelines keep getting more and more draconian. I don't know why YouTube Kids even exists, because the main platform is getting so homogenized that it's a pointless addition.
