A Note from Moon
Hi everyone! Many of you have been missing friends-to-lovers stories, so I decided to return to this classic trope with a tale of two childhood best friends. Though I feel as if I've written this story before, or at least a few of a similar sentiment. I actually have an idea for a more unique friends-to-lovers story, but I am debating if I should pursue that idea or prioritize writing the more popular girlfriend sleep aids. What do you think? Perhaps it's time for another poll.
Also, it wasn't until editing this roleplay that I realized how inaccurately my character defines romantic love. She obviously has intentions for defining romantic love so... simply. But I just want to stress that my character's views are not my own and that, in my opinion, love is a lot more than the result of friendship and lust. But what exactly is it..?

What is love? Baby don't hurt me, don't hurt me, no more. Anyway, I think her idea of love is honestly pretty valid. Sure it's simple but why does it have to be complicated? A different scenario but same principle is toradora. Ryuji in the beginning is in love with minorine, but over the course of the series realizes that tiga is a much better fit for him. His love with minorine was pretty classic love. There was blushing and he thought she was amazing, in a kind of hero worship way, because of how she dealt with hardship. His love with tiga was initially platonic. He very much felt like a dad to her. Cleaning her apartment, cooking her food, taking care of her generally, and one of the characters thought it was pretty toxic at first and thought he would be better of with someone who saw him as an equal. But ryuji was a very caring person. His whole identity is basically a dad. He loves cleaning, cooking, and generally looking out for people. Its not the idea of love in a traditional sense but it works for them. In the case of this audio, the Greeks would use philia. Philia denotes a deep sense of friendship and camaraderie, VS eros which is driven by passion first. I think philia is the base for most. A friend of mine who is a marriage counselor said to me that marriages are somewhere around 70% more likely to succeed if you've been friends for 5 years or more
