Christmas at the Elk Tavern (render WIP)
🕑 Added 2018-12-16 12:03:29 +0000 UTC Most of the set is done now, with only a few additional lighting props, set pieces, and tweaks to avoid tangents. Hopefully it's clear that a door on the left is opened, letting in a cold, winter chill, a silhouette in the doorway cast on the floor, and the warmth of a fire burning off to the right. The final painting will utilize a bit more atmospheric depth painted in as well, and even some snow particles to convey the incoming gust.Today I'll be working in the characters and tightening up a few more elements before final render and paintover. I project there should be a stream monday or tuesday to work on this picture live, so stay tuned!

Do you have fixed chars for this one, or are you planing on selling/raffling some spots?

What time do you usually stream? Sorry if that's posted somewhere and I missed it, but I'd like to be there!

Thank you!

This render took about 4.5 minutes, so not too bad!

Wow, I can feel the space with the way you did the light, all the way down to the dust. Great stuff!

Rendering can be a bitch. I’m currently rendering a video in maya. Taking forever. So I can imagine how long these renders take
