General Update: 04/07/24 (Billing Paused)
🕑 Added 2024-04-07 21:20:28 +0000 UTCHello again, everyone! So, unfortunately I have been running out of steam lately. It's not a big problem, I still like working on VT, I'm just struggling to find motivation right now. Therefore, I'm going to pause billing for the next month so I can take a break from working on VT as a job and start working on VT as a full-time hobby instead.
That may sound strange, but bear with me here. I've been going through different methods of pumping up more motivation for myself, and so I wanted to give this one a shot just to see if it's any better or worse than working normally. Besides, you all have been incredibly generous with your support for VT, so I think giving you a month off is a decent way to repay you while also making up for any lost time. Since I won't be able to accept new paid members during this period (I think?), I will also be making the last build free for all Patreon members of any tier. As for Patreon updates, I probably won't do weekly updates during this period unless I have something good to share, sorry about that!
Lastly, don't worry at all about me or VT. I'm in a good spot right now financially and I'm still very excited about VT, I'm just mixing things up a little. Thank you all so much for your support, I'm sorry about doing this on such short notice!

Take all the time you need ♥ It totally makes sense, when it feels like work then theres no sense of "play" and thats where all the greatness comes from. Plus taking a break from things is always helpful (I fr totally follow my own advice and am not hypocritical in any way.....~ >.> <.<)

ah, i see. you're trying to change your mentality by refusing money and therefore effectively saying "i'm doing this because i want to" instead of "i'm doing this because people are paying me to do it". by choice instead of by obligation, even if, in both cases, you still love doing it. not having that feeling of being obligated to work on it helps you feel better about actually WANTING to do it and therefore motivates you better. hope it works!
