Discord on iOS and NSFW Servers
🕑 Added 2021-05-31 00:34:51 +0000 UTCSome of you may know that Apple has made it difficult for users to access NSFW content in apps. Discord on iOS has changed the way their app can access servers marked as NSFW in order to comply with Apple's terms of service.
You can still access these servers on your iOS devices, but it isn't enabled by default. Here's how to get into my server, or any other NSFW server:
1) Get discord for desktop (discord on browser might work too, I haven't checked.)
2) Go to User Settings > Privacy and Safety, and turn on "Allow access to NSFW servers on iOS"
That's it! You should then be able to access the server on your phone/tablet. Hope that helped!

More the decisions the company makes. That being said they have a lot of users, so I'm glad there is at least this solution so far for people who rely on them. Hope they will keep at least this setting and never decide to remove it.

Discord on desktop has the toggle. Idk if the toggle appears if you’ve not used the web browser version to use the toggle first

I've already had at least one person tell me they can't access my discord, so they definitely are rolling it out.

The more you know i guess. For me, this was the last straw, and i backed up all my data from my iphone, adn sold it immediately. I chose to replace it with a OnePlus Nord. There is some regret, now that i know that it wasn't necessary to ditch apple entirely, but overall? Somehow my OnePlus Nord feels better than my iPhone Xs, and i'm beginning to like android, so, i guess it wasn't such a bad decision anyways o3O

This is the first time I've heard of that feature and I've always been able to access NSFW servers and chats on iOS, and that option was off when I looked at it just now. I heard that banning NSFW content on Discord iOS was a misunderstanding from Discord and they reverted (some?) restrictions they put initially tried.
