But I offer a third proposal: they're pure profit mongers, they've decided that this is the approach that maximises their share value, and the last thing they care about is any of the principles that you and Mircea are concerned about.

You do realize how hypocritical that statement is, right? Patreon should be as free to enforce their policies as you should be to view whatever content you enjoy. If you don't like them, just don't use the platform. You can probably find the origenal on e621, so there's no reason to complain.

Patreon = Idiot demented cultists. Thankfully I have the original as you intended it before those zealots wanted you to modify it to fit their doctrine. Thank goodness for Subscribestar even if that's so much smaller unfortunately.
