Sorry to hear that’s happening, the first thing I’d try is to make sure your build plate is super clean, use dish soap and warm water to clean it then be sure not to touch it at all. Sometimes after that I’ll also use isopropyl alcohol to clean it a second time. If that still doesn’t work, I’d suggest adding brims to the pieces that peel off. Let me know if you have any luck !

I got a question. I work with A1 mini and love to print this project. I have tried printing it for 2nd time now but it just not stick to my baseplate. Like the pieces bend on the edges and stick off. Any suggestions?

I assume you have what exactly was the issue caused by the larger nozzle

have you tried 0.4 mm nozzle? that is all i have and I will have to spend a minimum of $25 just on a nozzle assembly on top of everything else

You are right! Another pointed that out as well, It looks like they've both been updated and no longer sell those. But you should be able to substitute any spring as long as its the same size I call for (0.3mm Wire x 3mm OD x 5mm Length). I'll try to update that list if I find some new options

On the Hardware Sources page, the links for the Trigger Mechanism springs (Source 1 and 2) and pins (Source 1) seem to go to the wrong product. It might be an artifact of the source not having that specific size and it defaulting to another option. Just wanted to point that out.

They are not, but I will add a the file that I used shortly! I will warn you that it wasn't cheap (still around $2000 USD for 1 pawn) and required lots and lots of filing and post processing to get it to work.

Are these metal printing ready through pcbway or jlcpcb if we wanted to get metal ones?

The rook-pawns need those pins, but correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think I've listed the knight pawns as needing those pins. And to answer your other question, any metal surface that magnets are attracted to could be used, Its just that the tiles are designed to fit washers of those size.

I have not done any tests with a .25mm nozzle, its possible but I can't say for sure as I've only used a .2mm nozzle

another question, on the hardware list is says that the knight-pawns need a (1.5mm OD x 8mm Length) dowl pin, but in the exploaded view i cant seem to find it anyware? Also, can i use any type of dowl/metal thing for the board or does it have to be that certain washer?

Incredible work, had to buy the files, questions for the trigger mechanism springs, the links you send don't match up with what is written on the document. Also, are you able to substitute any company spring/part of the exact same size?

Thanks! Those are just some large screws that can be screwed into the bottom of the pieces to add more weight after the print
