That movie is so funny and with an all star cast!
Janell
Great movie!
David Croft-Ogawa
Meryl also did some amazing scenes in The Hours and Bridges of Madison County.
Leonard
So true! I think they made 3 Bernie’s! Still don’t know how they pulled that off! For Dark Comedy 🎭 I like “Throw Mama from the Train”! 😂😂
Robert Greffey
Not a favorite of mine either (though I did watch the whole thing), but I'll take this over Weekend at Bernie's, which seems to be a wildly popular dark comedy film from the same era. I think the joke wears itself out before the film is half over, but people love that one.
Robert Greffey
Kinda surprised no one's brought up the terms "dark humor", "black comedy", or "gallows humor", which this is a classic example of. Basically making humor out of otherwise grim, taboo, or socially awkward subject matter. The definition is broad enough that listicles might name some other films already on the channel, but this may be the most hardcore of them.

Another quirky and strange movie that is worth watching is Bernie. Jack Black plays the lead role, and it plays out very differently then one would think. Based on the true story of a small town murder in Texas.

I think they may have seen the sandlot, separate from the channel.
Casey Salley
I saw this one years ago because I remember seeing the trailer for it in the 80’s, but never saw it. Never cared for it, and I’m an 80’s queen. Since it’s summer, why not watch the Sandlot? I promise you won’t regret it.

Sophie’s Choice is so sad. Meryl Streep is one of the best actors who ever lived. I’d love to see more of her work in reactions.

Heavenly Creatures is one of my favorite movies. Directed by Peter Jackson who did Lord of the Rings.
Michael J Paulus
Heathers is great. My friends and I used to watch it over and over. Kids didn't talk like that until we saw Heathers. It was very.
John DelVecchio
Would love to see you watch theSteve Martin “Parenthood” movie.
Leonard
Love you guys. Never really liked this movie. I was 19 when I walked out of this movie. But hey they all can’t be winners. 😂😂 you all did great though. Christine Ricci played Wednesday but they look similar.

I second Jennifer's choice of Untamed Heart. Speaking of choice..... I haven't seen anyone mention Sophie's Choice. Meryl Streep's early acting that blew critics away. A different look at WWII.

Exactly what I came here to say!! I love that movie. Yes!! to Untamed Heart.

agreed, some of these movies im like "who the heck requested this" lol but to each their own i suppose, The godfather, Scarface, Goodfellas, just to name a few that belong on every Reaction Channel early on 🤷♂️

So many great movies out there still to be seen! “Seabiscuit” 2003’ horse racing, underdog, feel good, true story, will be one of your favorites!!
Rollo Tomassi
I love you guys … I really do … but people are steering you wrong. So many movies to watch before this one even enters the convo. I get it … “give the people what they want” but … 😬. *This message was sent with love … always love, fam.*

In Case you didn't see it i will post it under this reaction as well. 1). I would throw in ,,Hatari" from 1962 with the great John Wayne, one of my favorite movies. It has adventure and love, so something that you both like i hope. 2). I also recommend my favorite movie of all time ,,Ivanhoe" from 1952 with Robert Taylor and Elizabeth(Liz) Taylor. It's a great movie about the time of Richard Lionheard and the Knights and Maidens. 3). Two Questions: When do we get the finale of Star Wars with episode IX? And do you consider watching movies through the timelines like Rogue One and Solo?
Jennifer Sanchez
One of my favorite movies with Christian Slater is Untamed Heart. It also has Marisa Tomei from My Cousin Vinny. It’s a good love story 🥰
Kristin D
Hah! Def a different kind of movie than you two have been watching lately. Lots to pick apart and think about. Looking forward to it. Another Psychological Drama worth considering is Heavenly Creatures. It's based on a true story of a murder in New Zealand.
Thomas Horton
I hope you do Young Frankenstein for Halloween, but you should watch the classic Frankenstein movies first
