This movie originally did end with them going their separate ways, but the producers showed the movie at a few screenings to get feedback and everyone felt the same as you, so they ended up changing the ending so they’d end up together.

Great reaction you guys, love your channel! This is definitely one of the best rom-coms of all time! You should definitely check out Runaway Bride (1999), ALSO starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere! They definitely did it again... their chemistry is amazing! Love this movie!!!! One of my favorite all time movies!!!! Love anything with Julia Roberts in it!!! I agree with Nottinghill, Ocean's 11 and An Officer and A Gentleman.... Richard Gere is so good in that movie!!!!

Watching the beautiful Julia Roberts in this early-ish film of hers made me remember her scene in "Notting Hill" where she discusses how bad her life as a movie star really is. +1 for "Notting Hill"
