Love this movie and your reaction was great! I have a movie that you will both love! You've seen TOP GUN (1986), now you have to see... TOP GUN: MAVERICK (2022)! It is even better than the first one! I waited for 36 YEARS for the sequel to happen... it's now my #1 of all time! They have the actors up in the Navy Jets for this film! The cinematography in this movie is INSANE! Just praying that, at least, one of you hasn't seen it yet! LOL! Love you guys!

I can't believe you two didn't talk about the soundtrack. Jimmy Durante, Louis Armstrong, Carly Simon, Nat King Cole, Joe Crocker, etc. 😁 By the way, there is one very sad moment when Tom Hanks' cab was going over the bridge. If you look you can see the twin towers in the background. So many movies set in NYC during that time have it in the cityscape. I'm so happy you liked it!

We Seattlites have a love/hate relationship with this movie, but ultimately love wins! Because how can you hate Tom Hanks?! BTW a couple of my coworkers went to Red Robin after work one night and 1st coworker played a trick and pretended it was 2nd coworker's birthday to get a free drink. When the singing of Happy Birthday was done, Tom Hanks appeared at their table and wished her a happy birthday! She was so embarassed! He was, of course, in town filming Sleepless.

A couple of the cast members Rob Reiner who also directed this film,also directed The Princess Bride,Spinal Tap and When Harry Met Sally.He achieved notary as Michael Stivic on tv All in the Family in 70’s. Suzy is played by Rita Wilson Tom Hank’s wife in real life.
