- Yes, Myra should ask for Kelsey's appearance first, then Erind will say she lost her glasses and was hiding. - I'm going to add that line about librarians. On that point, I think only some do, depends on the library haha. - Before, Dario was stiff and a bit formal an emotionsless. But not this formal and emotionless. I'm thinking we push him more on that direction. I'll have Erind comment on Dario. - Myra does sound like she's expositing while recapping Kelsey's situation. - I'll tweak around Dario's dialogue here too. Trying to calm Myra while being out of touch. Thanks for the other suggestions about Dario's dialogue too. And you're right about Dario speaking too much in full sentence. - Huh, why did I write that in third person? Lol. Probably because I was thinking of the next chapter, which will be a side character, and they're in third person POV in REND. Thanks for the suggestion! - Awesome addition to Erind's thoughts about her plans. - As for La Esperanza being so tall, hmmm. Maybe other areas that would've been cities are destroyed, so people became more cocentrated? And LA was destroyed I think, or partly. I can't recall the lore. Thank you so much for all the help. I know this takes so much of your time. More than the financial support, using your time to better the story is so much more valuable and I appreciate it.

The funny thing about Blanchette in the last time was that Erind never really learned restraint. Towards the end, she was enjoying being a monster. So maybe, that was the true goal of Spooky Erind. Here, the faces will push Erind in a certain direction, while she'll combat it. Like Blanchette pushing her to be more of a monster blantanly, like wanting to eat Deen.

In general, I like the chapter, but I have a lot of suggestions/comments: "Tell me what happened," she almost growled. - I think Myra should ask first, "How did she look?" to confirm that it was her sister. If not a lawyer, another career path I envisioned was to be a librarian, reading stories to kids. ... This must be what authors felt like when they see their published works on bookstore shelves. -> I suggest adding, "Wait! Do librarians read stories to kids? Focus, Erind! Where were we?" "Truly, a horrific sight," said Blank. - Is this the way he actually talks? Saying smth like "There was a fucking bloodbath." seems more appropriate - convey emotion. OR, maybe he is just that emotionless and too calm, which can become a point in Erind's rambling like this guy is not just a wannabe hero but also a wannabe psycho. "he, um, wanted to have his way with my friend… before, you know, they killed her." -> "he, um, wanted to have his way with my friend… before, you know, killing her."" "The last thing we know, she was on the train during the Adumbrae attack last Monday." -> "The last thing we know, she was on that train!" - Myra's speech is a bit too repetitive; I think she should be more emotional and contain less exposition. "We're not sure if it was Kelsey." Blank shook his head. "I regret telling you about it." -> Again, his speech is a bit too robotic and stiff. Also, in this specific case, I would replace it with "I don't think it was Kelsey. It was someone else." - to convince Myra to calm down and return to the point of the conversation, which is figuring out what exactly happened. An appearance of a new Adumbrae should worry them. "You have many questions, and we'll have those all answered. But it's going to be a long story, and I'd want your friend to be awake to hear it too." - I honestly find this trope "I will tell everything later when everyone can participate" a bit too overused. I suggest replacing it with "But it's going to be a long story. Let's get to safety first." "For now, just rest. We're not in the clear yet." - that's contradictory. How can she rest if they are not in the clear yet? I suggest removing it. "We're going back to the downtown area, blend with the traffic, and leave to head to our base in the outskirts of the city." - I think I know why I don't like his dialogue. He speaks too much in full sentences, which is a bit unnatural. -> "Downtown. We'll blend with traffic first, then go to our base in the outskirts." "We… we'll leave the city," said Erind. - why third person? Probably a mistake, but that gave me an idea -> "We… we'll leave the city," said Erind-in-distress, my newly-developed face. I won't leave the city, of course. I will rend those kidnapper assholes into shreds once I figure out what is going on. "I know you won't report us," he cut in. "But if the 2Ms capture you again, they'll have ways of making you talk. Come with us, and we'll offer you protection." -> "I know you won't report us," he cut in. "But if the 2Ms capture you again, they'll make you talk. You should come with us, and we will protect you." Firstly, I wouldn't reveal I was an Adumbrae. - I think Erind should comment on it a bit. -> Firstly, I wouldn't reveal I was an Adumbrae. I was an Adumbrae. Admitting it to myself felt surreal. Does it mean I have to develop a new face? Cute-student Erind, good-daughter Erind, ass-kicking-Adumbrae Erind. It probably does, but back to the point. Secondly, I'll make up a story about things I witnessed during the Adumbrae attack to make me seem more important. Fuck Kelsey, I'm the protag girl here! And lastly, I'd offer to help them. Maybe have revenge as a motivation or something. Wait, I can't really help as a cute-student Erind, can I? Maybe as a good-daughter Erind, using my mother's connections? I need to think more about this. If the heart of La Esperanza could be described as a bustling concrete jungle, New Hope City was a dead concrete forest. - I just wonder. In the world of REND, California seems very different. Cities like LA, in general, are mostly flat, with very few tall buildings.

I remember blanchette was given to erind to make her exercise self restraint and control in the og loop. Is this plot point still relevant now that she's on a more gentle power curve? I kinda liked the idea of each mask being made to teach erind a different aspect
