- I thought of changing the name, but I like Pino. - Kelsey should know about the 2Ms because of Myra and Dario. She wouldn't know though that they did the train attack. - Yep, I'll edit that part about Pino using the Erind body. I have some idea for that too with the Core link. - Everyone is an Adumbrae though! Hahaha - That's one of the conclusion Keke can draw from seeing Pino and the Erind body - Erind having a Core should also not be possible. Keke called her an anomaly. No one really knows what's up with Erind anyway, even Spooky Erind. - Lol, ExK looks cool to write. - If Keke is a bad Adumbrae, she can just scheme for now and lie low. So we have time to decide if she's actually good or bad, though Adumbrae probably don't think about themselves in those terms. - True, maybe we can retcon Penemue and the others, making Erind as the only Adumbrae with her human mind so far. - Thanks for sharing your thoughts and the help proofreading!

Typos: Super hassle, too, as proven by my time with Deen. -> It was a super hassle, too, as proven by my time with Deen. The first thing I noticed was losing my sense. -> The first thing I noticed was losing my sense of smell. And in this cramped space, I hoped that I’d partially be in her forcefield since if I returned to my original body -> This is incomplete My mind control, or rather, body control, wouldn’t simply just a matter of my willpower. -> My mind control, or rather, body control, wasn't simply just a matter of my willpower. It was like figuring out the answer to I pursued that path, funneling my concentration into it. -> It was like figuring out the answer to a difficult math question. (Maybe also put something here that Erind hates math.) I pursued that path, funneling my concentration into it. I directed more power to combat the Adumbrae’s thousghts, but she had hijacked our connection. -> I directed more power to combat the Adumbrae’s thoughts, but she had hijacked our connection. ----- What name should I give this form? Should I ask Deen? She was the one who called me Blanchette, though I was the one who told her about the name. -> Fun to see the Pino name origin story this time. I’d claim that I turned into one when I was kidnapped by the 2Ms looking for her. She’d be wracked by guilt, making her easily malleable. She’d do anything to make it up to me. -> It'd be funny if she had no idea who the 2M's are and then Erind is forced to rethink her approach. I didn’t particularly care about the backstories of characters who only showed up in one episode. This was where Adumbrae Kelsey would last appear. -> Erind isn't ready for a rerun. If Adumbrae Kelsey tried wriggling loose, I could simply remove my mask, return to my original body, and rip off her growing limbs again. My base form was plenty strong. -> If Erind's original body is strong, why does Erind need to take off her mask, can't she just have Pino order her original body to fight Kelsey? Plus, Pino could try buffing Erind. “Yes,” I replied, wondering why Kelsey had a golden outline. -> Clearly, it's the Core allowing Erind to see Adumbrae as Pino. This also might be useful later as Pino can use it to determine who is and isn't an Adumbrae. “In this form, you’ve left your body on the floor instead of hiding it from me. It must be related to your ability.” -> Funny how Keke assumes that the Erind body is just invisible when Blanchette is out. “How is this possible?” asked Adumbrae Kelsey, raising a scaly brow at my finger with an open tip. “You easily change forms, even returning to your original body.” -> She knows that Erind has a Core right? So this should probably be her first assumption. I visualized myself inside of her, worming my way deeper. -> Even Erind is rooting for Erind x Kelsey! On that note, we also don't know if Keke is actually a good Adumbrae (I haven't decided yet). This could just be Keke's ploy to get Kelsey's body, which she succeeded in doing. -> Even if she's a bad Adumbrae, she seems pretty aware, so maybe she stops trying to take control over Kelsey after Erind repeatedly keeps repelling her with Pino. If she's a good Adumbrae, then it would be cool to see Keke and Kelsey talking to each other more. They would be a plurality, where someone shares the same physical body with other individuals. And we have the Core coming in for the assist. -> You know, this could be a good tool for Erind to build her Adumbrae criminal empire. Since Erind's Core allows Pino to purge Adumbrae from the minds, she can recruit more Adumbrae to her cause. Thanks for the chapter!

Makes me wonder what excuse she gave Kelsey for fighting tooth and nail against letting Erind drag Kelsey back out. -> Protection from the immense pain, perhaps?

Excellent writing, good stuff!

No Name

"If Adumbrae Kelsey tried wriggling loose, I could simply remove my mask, return to my original body, and rip off her growing limbs again." -> Why this convoluted approach? Erind can puppet her original body; tearing off limbs does not exactly require finesse or precision. Seems like it would be much faster to just have Erinds body occasionally prune the Adumtree, rather than unsummoning and resummoning Pino. "On that note, we also don't know if Keke is actually a good Adumbrae (I haven't decided yet)" -> Makes me wonder what excuse she gave Kelsey for fighting tooth and nail against letting Erind drag Kelsey back out. Edit: Actually, why would Erind leave her body on the floor anyways, and not connect it? Without the connection to Pino, her body was completely defenseless (and prone to getting stained with blood). "It’s my weakness." isn't really the case, unlike last time. It basically only applies when Pino isn't puppeteering it. From what Deen displayed, Pinos strengthening is so potent this cycle that a strengthened puppet-Erind would be so resilient, it would almost be safer than if Erind was in the body in the first place. Even if Erind still hasn't gone through the training montage for Pino, and really couldn't control her well... ------------------------------------------------------------ "And in this cramped space, I hoped that I’d partially be in her forcefield since if I returned to my original body. " -> Incomplete sentence? "The first thing I noticed was losing my sense." -> Of smell, I presume? "The Adumbrae’s instantaneous clamping down of thoughts once she realized I was in her head disconcerted her a bit." -> I feel like this sentence is missing something... "The Adumbrae’s instantaneous clamping down of thoughts once she realized I was in her head proved it disconcerted her a bit."? "My mind control, or rather, body control, wouldn’t simply just a matter of my willpower. " -> Missing a word? " It was like figuring out the answer to I pursued that path," -> Missing?
