The previous chapter was too forceful a push into ExDxM. I tested using the pacing of actual smut stories, and it appears that it was too fast for ExD. Here in ExD, it took quite some time for Erind and Deen to develop. We should take pace it realistically with Myra as well.)
It was as if Myra were in a trance. Then she heard: “Erind, the other hole… The other—ooh! Thank you…”
They’re freaks for each other, Myra realized.
Hearing that line knocked some sense into her. She looked down at herself, one hand on her breasts, the other in her pants, and was shocked that she let it get this far. She hurried back into the other room, gently closing the door behind her.
She didn’t make any sounds except for the click of the door. Deen and Erind wouldn’t have noticed that, hopefully.
“What the fuck was I doing there?” Myra asked her reflection as she washed her hands. Insane didn’t even cover it! She shouldn’t have been eavesdropping in the first place.
But she did. And she couldn’t just delete the things that she had heard.
Deen and Erind? A couple? Set aside that they were having sex with each other—knowing that wouldn’t help Myra’s goal here. Instead, Myra should focus on what this meant for her. Myra wanted to establish a connection with Erind and Deen so that she could ask them for aid when the time came.
Myra’s car didn’t really break down. It was fine, parked in the garage of her friend. Myra also could’ve continued staying at her friend’s place, no problem. The truth was that Myra wanted to spend more time with Deen and Erind.
She couldn’t just ask them to… what? Shop together? Eat at this famous restaurant? Too awkward.
And even if they met, it’d last for only a few hours. Too short a time to make an actual connection.
And Myra really needs time to get to know these two horndogs better. She didn’t even realize they were fucking each other!
Yes, the three of them were sort of an alliance. But that wasn’t any assurance that Deen and Erind would risk their lives to rescue Kelsey when they’d find her someday. Myra thought that her work on Erind had a good start. Though Erind hadn’t necessarily completely forgiven her, they had been training together. All in all, the path was there because they were open with each other about their… rocky… past.
It’d take some time, but Myra was confident that she could make it up to Erind. That was why Myra rushed her to Las Vegas once she learned of the Greaves Tech Fair incident. She had an inkling that Erind and Deen were connected, and so was ready to supply them with Suppressors to clear the police investigations.
Myra patted herself on the back for that one. It showed Erind that Myra made the effort to be of help.
Myra thought that she’d do the same with Deen. Myra knew that Erind hadn’t told Deen the truth of what had happened at the parking lot, or else Deen would’ve confronted her with righteous fury. Being honest would do some good, right? Deen would be more forgiving. Myra would have the opportunity to repair their relationship, and that would be the start of forging an assured alliance.
However, it didn’t seem like Deen would be quick to forgive her, unlike Erind. Worse, since Deen and Erind were banging each other, Deen might influence Erind to distance herself from Myra.
“This is bad…” Myra said, chewing her lip.
Not only was Myra’s work of asking for forgiveness cut out for her, but Deen and Erind might not be too keen on going on ultra dangerous missions—there’d certainly be a lot of those if Myra was right that the Professor had captured Kelsey. Since they were lovers, Deen and Erind wouldn’t let one or the other die. It would be different if Deen were trying to save Erind and vice versa.
Myra was the third wheel of the group, and in a very bad way. The two of them might even go on the run to escape Dario and the Professor, leaving Myra behind, and Kelsey still missing. As things got more dangerous, that possibility became more and more likely.
Congrats to Deen and Erind for finding love in this fucked up world, but that was of no help to Myra.
“What’s the plan?” Myra slapped her cheeks. “Focus. Focus on my fucking self. Break them up? No, that was fucking stupid.”
That plan would net her only one ally, most likely, Erind, and one very angry enemy, Deen. Myra wanted both of them on her team—Erind for the immense firepower, and Deen for her prescient pet. The couple should remain as such. Go the other route, then.
“Step one: Don’t be horny,” Myra muttered as she left the bathroom.
She tossed herself on the bed, trying to forget what she had heard in the room. She was on a mission. Sex was a distraction, even though she did find the Deen-Erind pair quite hot.
“Step two: Be supportive of their relationship. But not too openly at first.”
Deen and Erind shouldn’t know that Myra was aware of them being a thing because that’d mean she had eavesdropped on them. Myra should finesse the situation so that they’d eventually give themselves away in front of her. Better yet, she’d find a way to make them confess—she’d give hints that she thought they’d make a great couple.
After Deen and Erind revealed their relationship to Myra, Myra could go all out with support. She didn’t know how to do that yet, but she’d be the best cheerleader in existence.
“Step three: Make them owe me.”
This was the real challenge and the real solution to her problem.
Since those two horny lovebirds cared for each other so much, they’d definitely be grateful if Myra saved one of them from certain death. For example, if Myra saved Erind, not only Erind would owe her, but Deen as well. Two birds, one stone. Buy one, take one.
Easier said than done. Delivering Suppressors to them was a start, but far from enough. Myra needed a frigging dire situation.
“Going to Red Island… That’ll be it. But would Erind and Deen go?”
They might refuse Dario’s call to assemble for a mission and simply stay here in Vegas, satisfying their lust every day. They didn’t really need to be heroes and strike the heart of the 2Ms’ operations. Myra could think of two motivations for them—the first was not anger the Professor’s organization. The second was taking the 2Ms down before the 2Ms would attack them as revenge.
“They could just freaking leave,” Myra groaned. “Hide in some island Deen’s family owns. Step three point one—convince them that they have to go to Red Island. Step three point two—lure them into a dangerous situation. Okay, so the next fucking sub-step is saving them, but they’ll probably save me instead of the other way around.”
Erind was incredibly strong. Deen could see the future, kind of. Why would they need to be saved by Myra? Was there some other way to make them owe her?
“I can’t think of shit. I’ll go with being supportive first…” Myra’s imagination returned to where she had left off. She slid a hand into her pants. “This probably counted as being supportive.”
After doing the solo deed, Myra fell asleep. Knocking woke her up.
“Myra, are you awake?” It was Erind.
“Yeah, I’m up!” Myra reached for her phone. Around an hour had passed since she eavesdropped on Deen and Erind. They went on for quite some time. Myra remembered to wash her hands before opening the door. “What’s up?”
“We were thinking…” Erind glanced down the hallway. Deen was in the living room. “You want to go out and find something to eat? We can continue talking there.” In a lower voice, Erind added, “If we’re in public, Deen won’t explode on you.”
She probably had exploded on you, Myra thought, coming up with the nasty image in her head. “Okay, then. I’m game wherever.”
They chose a coffee shop in a narrow alley. It was cramped, and the three of them crowded around a small circular table. The neighboring tables weren’t too far away, and the risk of getting overheard was there. Perfect. They would have to talk in vague terms, but as Erind predicted, Deen couldn’t unleash the full extent of her anger on Myra.
“I’m going to start from the, uh, start.” Myra made a face. “That was a bad start. Anyway, I’m horribly sorry for what I did to both of you. How can I make up for it?”
(Author’s Notes: After some thinking, this is the route that we’ll try with Myra. She knows about their relationship, but Erind and Deen aren’t aware of it. The comedic part is that Myra will try to be supportive and make them admit it.)

Yeah, I should've gone this way instead of the previous chapter. But this is also a nice experiment for how to handle things in the main story with Myra.

This feels like a way better way to go with it, and when/if this works out great you can use it in the new cycle - with myra pushing Erind and Deen a bit to start the relationship. Just like dropping a hint or comment here or there about them being kinda gay for each other
