🕑 Added 2024-07-22 15:13:40 +0000 UTCI was thinking of skipping this one, knowing that I'd more or less committed myself to another two episodes of this series, and then I remembered I can just not do that if they end up being boring. I'm not sure they will. Also, that's a problem I'd have to tackle like a year from now because New Blood, im-sim curse, etc. etc.
What convinced me of the viability of this as a video was when I knocked a man out cold with a red swingline stapler. Then the whole exercise turned into a globby, misshapen, noir-styled Postal video with a sickening amount of violence that I thought would get it demonetized (and may still) but the six seconds of a Who song? Nah, the bots were fine with that one.
Putting this video out first also gives me some time to ponder the philosophical density of the next video's subject: a mid 2000's FPS game from Russia. Jank o'clock will be upon us again. May God have mercy on my soul.

I think my favorite bit when I was playing was toward the end of the shipyard with that big group of bottom tier goons and the one molotov guy, all aggro'd on me at once, but the regular ones all bunched up to run at me right as the molotov guy threw his bottle, and he just fuckin' killed all his buddies in one shot for me. Absolutely magical. My only complaint is that I never could figure out a consistent way to get the goons into the deliver-a-finisher state, it seemed to only happen randomly, and there were a number of times I could've really used being able to control that.

When you kill a goon next to another, on occasion the survivor goes "you killed them!" What I would love is if that goon now dies in the next second or two he should go "and now you killed me!" as he is dying.
