I think I personally like Phaidei just a little bit more than Myphai (what can I say? Personally, I’m a fan of PhaiDei, but I also think they tend to switch depending on whatever they’re feeling like that day (and whatever works narratively because they’re a little complicated in the head). Phainon is so eager to do well and Mydei is so sweet under his blunt demeanor, and I think PhaiDei is typically best for exploring those aspects of them. I think Mydei deserves to be taken care of a little (so that I can explore his feelings as he struggles to put down his guard and relax) and Phainon deserves to bask in being the one most trusted by the man he loves (so that I can explore the horrible insecurities that he tries to hide).
