But every episode especially the last like few in the last two months it seems like she’s less and less interested to be there and she even voices how she doesn’t care a lot and I just find that to be Unprofessional and kind of disrespectful. Indiana used to always do that kind of thing also and show up late also and people understood that that was disrespectful and she was also going through things. Tara has said before that she’s been tested for ADHD and doesn’t have it, but as someone with severe ADHD I really see myself in her. We often times interrupt people or zone out when the conversation isn’t interesting (it is selfish and rude but just the way we are, I wish I COULD focus and show people I care because we truly do). Admittedly the conversation WAS a little boring and felt like something they could’ve talked about off podcast, even I was like…eh. It IS somewhat self-absorbed for us with ADHD to visibly zone when the conversation is on a topic we can’t partake in, but it’s how we are. It’s not the fact it isn’t about Tara, more the fact she just can’t take part in the conversation because she doesn’t live with them or really get what’s happening. I can relate to Tara. I’m also a people-pleaser and find myself burning out because I take on too many tasks and workload from people due to my inability to say no or sometimes set boundaries. You can tell immediately it put her into a mood just thinking about how much stress she’ll be under and that’s understandable. But the rest of them offering to help Tara with ideas and filming to help alleviate the pressure is super admirable. I also want to add that no one should nag Tara for being a little dismissive in this after school special. She’s super bubbly and energetic 24/7 and she’s only human, it’s not fair for us to request she put on a perfect performance for the viewers all the time.

I do agree that it’s social etiquette to not scroll or be on your phone in a “work environment” but it IS the after school special, she never touches her phone in the main podcast. This is more relaxed and like Tara said, she has a lot of things on and she’s under loads of pressure and stress. I do agree that it’s better if she just tells them she needs to leave though, because it IS a little off putting.

I have ADHD too and this is quite literally the only podcast I watch every single week without fail. They all have great chemistry and there’s basically zero negativity and their dynamic really makes you feel like you’re a part of the group.

I used to work at Best Buy, and they definitely check serial numbers for tv, it’s like the one thing they’re super nit picky about especially for such an expensive one. They have to scan the serial number to be able to return it. That being said, small things like console controllers… different story
