Sometimes as a girl I feel like you're costantly told that the only thing that really matters about you is how you look. Especially in the eyes of men. For guys, society places value in other things about them than looks and how they're perceived by the other sex. So when there are jokes and its coming from guys, it makes you more inclined to think that it is true and be more sensitive about it. idk if that makes sense
