Storytelling is a great skill to have Jared. I understand getting in your head after someone says it’s boring but just remember we live in an age where ppl want info fast because it can be delivered fast so it’s not your fault. As a storyteller or providing some fun facts you just need to work on keeping ppl engaged with the fluctuation of your voice and gestures even asking questions. And for those listening to the story they need to do a better job at finding interest in the details of life even if it’s not a normal thing that typically interests you

I'll be honest, I understand how Jared feels. My story telling reaction always leads to people being checked out and bored. However, despite their teasing, you can clearly tell how much everyone else cares about Jared. No matter how distracted they got, they're actively trying to not hurt his feelings and stay focused. I respect it.
