I have so many stories I got hit in the face with a soccer ball at school and it knocked my glasses off (they didn’t break) but I had my hand on it for the next 2 days I pretty much couldn’t see and Jared is talking about the ring it’s 7 days lol I also was riding a bike going home and I hear a loud bang thought my chain slipped off and I checked I look up and I ran into the back of a parked van also dang Alyssa hair holy she look amazing I was dumbfounded

I also have a story on a bike. It was my 14th birthday, I was in San Diego riding a bmx style bike on the boardwalk. I flew off (don’t know how bc my chin took the fall and I blacked out, had a concussion) but what I think happened is I went to turn around and my bike lost traction 🫠 I remember being ahead of everyone else so that was the only thing that made sense. But I busted my chin open, (now have a big scar) my cheek bone, above my eyebrow, plus my hip and my knee all ate concrete 🤣

I completely agree with Alyssa that a friend to all is a friend to none, and I have heard this before. Those are the fakest people! Imagine giving a piece of you to all those people, you’d be left pretty empty. Versus having 5 genuine peeps and nurturing those friendships as they nurture you.

People who have nothing and still manage to believe in God is because God provides hope. It’s easy to cling to God when you’re low that way life doesn’t seem as pointless. (I’m an atheist and wish I was able to believe in god it seems a LOT easier lol)

Bad things happen because God gave us free will. He gave up his almighty power to control us, so we could make our own choices and live the life we want. So YES, give yourself some credit because we did it ourselves, with god by our side supporting us. Ppl that are really religious abide by the Bible and statistically we are happier. We divorce less, religious cities have way less crime, our entire country is based off the catholic ideals! :)

Reply to Alyssa’s hot take— Christianity is based on JESUS, so we do not take credit for anything that we have. I totally understand that thought process, but once a person comes to know Christ they realize that they can’t have anything truly good apart from Christ. We can have worldly “good” but if we are living according to the Bible, then we know that if it’s not from God, it’s not good. So, our accomplishments in life may come from our own actions and discipline, but we have neither of those GOOD things apart from the Lord. I don’t know if that makes any sense to you guys, but I tried to explain it a little!! Again, I totally understand your point, but I think what I’m saying is it’s all about the person’s own perspective on their life and if they see God as the center or not🤍
