Since I hadn't drawn a nice and detailed weapon for so long I felt the urgent need to come up with something original just to dust off my design skills.
BTW, please don't look too much into the mechanics of the thing, I designed this rifle just to look cool not to make sense...

Well, for that you would have to assume that the wall continues outside the scene... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Maybe the rail ends a couple of meters ahead and then it's all open space. In any case I understand what you mean, thanks for the note...:D
