Hahaha I thought the same thing as you, because Gyu Min started saying all that to Hae Eun, I feel like it was too confusing, and it seemed like he only wanted her to choose him even though he chose someone else π

From what I heard the conversation in the car between GM and HE was edited to add suspence. Most of it was before they drove to HG. You can see inconsistency in lighting from the headlights. I guess producers gave them enough time to talk before providing instructions to move.
