Toy Story 3
🕑 Added 2020-06-01 04:01:01 +0000 UTCThere was a decade between this and 2, but was it worth the wait? Toy Story 3 (2010) gives you a serious animation upgrade, an unfortunate Lasseter parallel, and one hell of a prison break sequence. Blank Check debates the strengths and weaknesses of the third entry in the Toy Story franchise.

Could Mr. Potato Head offer Mrs. PH one of his eyes? If he were to do so and she would accept ... what would that experience be like? Transferring an eye from one user to another? #toystoneythoughts

guys, I'm begging you. "3... 2... 1... GO!" in a regular rhythm. I'm new to the patreon feed and i've beasted through all the commentariesin the past week and this is killing me. I love the title bits, but at least have a clean, one syllable, "GO" as a sync point. I love you all, especially Ang.

I remember going to see this with my best friend in high school. We were roughly the same age as Andy in the movie--at least a year younger. And for a long time, I thought that TS3 was one of the best Pixar entries. If you grew up with these characters for 15 years--especially if those 15 years are almost your entire life--Toy Story was omnipresent. I could not tell you how many dozens of times over the years I'd watched both TS1 and TS2. The thing that TS3 does is stick the landing. That's it. And to be sure, it's a near-great film, but that emotional catharsis has the advantage of being the culmination of spending a lifetime with these characters. The fact that TS4 tops it just speaks to how impressive that film is, but more on that later.

Also, how can David say TS3 is too dark but then laud Babe: Pig in the City? Explain yourself, Hot David.

Maybe they'll let Griff talk this time.
