Been a blanky for a while now and am just coming across this heinously wonderful collection. I know y’all watched it on low volume so might have missed it but Lee Pace has maybe the greatest line in the franchise which is “I came this close to biting Custer” as in General Custer from the civil war because his character’s whole schtick is he is still hung up on all the domestically fought American wars 😂

Recently watched these with my friends and we also burst into applause at billy burke’s title card in the end credits 🥹🤩 what a fun thing to

I’m sure David has been moved to tears by the LOTR: Return of the King credits, as have I, if he appreciated these so much! Had to listen twice as I was choked up along with him!

The third actor Griffin mentioned, Neil Brown Jr - he was also on "Insecure" as Chad, and he's now (+ several dozen pounds of muscle) a lead on "SEAL Team."

"The vampires are like Pitbull" killed me! Mr. Worldwide!

Warmed my heart to hear Ben sing Skyfall, also

Griffin’s summary monologue at about the 27:00 mark just ended me

I just discovered the "Late Night Listening" track when I popped in John Wick last night. I often use headphones, so it doesn't serve much purpose for me, but maybe someone? Some new TVs and sound systems have a mode that smooth out the dynamics.

Also, you gotta feel sorry for the Volturi who doesn't get the sweet release of death.

I was there opening night. I was a closet TwiHard at the time, total guilty pleasure, knew the books by heart, was ready for an anticlimactic showdown with lots of inner dialogue. When the first decapitation happened the theater went nuts! People screamed. I screamed! Nobody was prepared for that and the entire fight sequence was the best part of the whole saga. Finally, some stakes! Then they go back to the cannon and I was sooo mad. Listening to Ben discover all this in real time was incredible!! Having that fight sequence was the best that movie could have done. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll go watch the closing credits again.

I mean it would be great if we saw some of that ben footage

I need more conversation about edward’s casual oversized hoodie while he’s trying to convince everyone to fight. I wouldn’t trust that hoodie with directions to the train

But Blank Check's review of the Twilight series end credits? Best thing in all five films.

Re: Awkward werewolf/baby love, it's called "grooming" and it's no good, very bad, don't do it.

I’m wondering about this too! Black Moon Rising is an underseen curio, and I believe JC also wrote the amazing American disco giallo Eyes of Laura Mars (directed by the late, great Irvin Kershner): https://boxd.it/1o6I

Re: Awkward vampire sex - it's not just super hearing @DavidSimms, Edward can read minds!

Oh yeah the Mummy! Please at least add Scorpion King, if it's a non-commentary episode one of you could try and watch the other direct-to-DVD prequels and sequels.
Raphael Esguerra
That was the payoff I desired. Can’t wait for the next two series’!

Curious about the 11th non-commentary bonuses for Carpenter. I know the one for August 11th is the F9 thing, but after that I'm a bit fuzzy. The Elvis Mini-Series? Body Bags? Black Moon Rising (his lone screenplay credit he didn't also direct)?
Aaron Summers
Very much looking forward to the next two franchises, and glad that the order was switched.

Been watching these with my fiancé (humble brag) and she was a TwiHard back in the day, and I’ve never seen them. I truly have appreciated this deep dive into the films and I truly appreciate them for all their weirdness now. This one full on slaps, however, and I’m into literally all of it. Yelled “that’s Fucking sick” multiple times.
Bradley Davis
Always love to hear a Freddys Revenge shout out.
Roger T
I had to listen to it twice it was so good
Jordan B. Anderson
for other Thirsty Blankies out there: the Riddick franchise will be the first time special features has commented on nudity
Clay Ammentorp
The reaction to the end credits had me in tears
Mariana Sedillo
Four Brothers???? I remember him talking about Rachel Bilson new pod
Blake Anderson
Anyone know the episode where David talks about the OC?
Jordan B. Anderson
One of the finest endings to any franchise. Not even a little kidding.
William Evans
I like Part 1 more tbh but I’m hyped! Thanks BC crew. Your coverage of this finally pushed me to watch the whole Twilight series.
