Here is where we stand at the end of the first round of voting:
Up today, two franchises - both related to Vegas in big and small (yet crucial) ways.
It’s OCEANS vs. ROCKY.
With the Ocean's franchise, we'd get 5 films:
- Ocean's 11 (1960)
- Ocean's Eleven (2001)
- Ocean's Twelve (2004)
- Ocean's Thirteen (2007)
- Ocean's 8 (2018)
With ROCKY, you get 6 films:
- ROCKY (1976)
- ROCKY II (1979)
- ROCKY III (1982)
- ROCKY IV (1985)
- ROCKY V (1990)
- ROCKY BALBOA (2006)
A ROCKY series does not include the CREED films - we consider them their own franchise.
So - are we casing the Bellagio or are we begging Rocky to throw the damn towel to save Apollo’s life at the MGM Grand?
