Peter Weir, man, I was really hopeful for a while that the upcoming Boyle miniseries was actually a Weir miniseries cause it quickly seemed sure from the way they were talking about the David pick that it would be one of the two. Only problem I have with doing Boyle (which should be a great series) is that it seems like that’ll push back Weir at least a couple more years

I went to see Bullet Train in 4Dx (since blank check has made me obsessed with 4Dx) and first of all they didn’t turn off all of the lights and I kept expecting them to and hoping anyone else would get up and complain then 5 minutes into the movie I went and told the people. Then 25 minutes in I get fed up again bc the 4Dx part is not happening. The seats are completely stable. I go out to complain again to the poor 18 year old who has no idea where there manager is but they’re trying. At 45 minutes in, I’m seething in anger. I’ve missed 15 minutes of the ridiculously convoluted plot and super extravagant thing I paid for isn’t happening. I go out again and they still can’t find the manager. I stand there for 10 minutes missing even more of the movie and just decide to leave. I call regal and fandango and they say bc I saw most of the movie (even without 4Dx and since no one else complained) that I could not get a refund. Bullet train, not a great moviesh experience
