Don't let these people shame you, Scream gang. It's the superior choice. Movies about movies that open up plenty of choice topics. Genres rarely covered on the pod. The whodunnit aspect will make the commentary part of it fun. Also, David is correct in his Scream 3 take and I am so excited to hear him talk about it. Meanwhile, MK is fun 90s shit it'd be fun to hear Ben and Griff get excited over for one movie.

I believe there is a myth in the blankosphere that bad movies will make for fun discussion and I don’t think this is a hard and fast rule. As someone who genuinely loves the first mortal kombat movies, number 2 is a genuine slog. Scream all the way, even the worst of the series still is interesting

Gourley and Rust just did Scream. With that being the only other franchise-based podcast worth a shit, it's a little deflating when they cover the same stuff. Nobody else on the internet would do the Jelly trilogy or the SNL films or stuff like that. As has been said, Scream is so popular (and has been for 25 years or whatever) that everyone is already talking about it.
