I think Dick captured our cyberpunk hell with increasingly evident accuracy and without sacrificing bloody pulp entertainment. The directors that have covered him run that range (in some cases by being one more instance of our hell more than critiquing it) across many decades of history. It is a fascinating slice of pop culture to explore. The only reason i can see to vote against it is if you don’t trust the hosts or the format. Or if you just LOVE the color beige

I went for Dick, but the more I think about it the more I realize the precogs are floating in their tank warning us against future events.Dick punches coverage holes in the filmographies of Scott, Linklater, and Villanueve. Hell, it retroactively punched holes in itself by forcing the the exclusion of Total Recall and Minority Report! Dick is a space/time paradox I don’t think we’re ready for.

I'm torn on this one. The thing I like hearing most in a Blank Check series is the comparisons between films in a series/filmography. I think the boys would be really good at discussing and tracking what makes the Oceans movies good and bad, and there's some truly great stuff and truly terrible stuff going on in that series. Would be fun. But I could also see them doing a Steven Poderbergh series at some point down the road, and we'd end up getting most of these anyway. I doubt we're going to get a George Nolfi series so this is probably the only chance to get Adjustment Bureau, one of the great hat-based movies of all time. I don't know what to vote for.
