I started meditating (and listening to Blank Check) in about 2016. I was trying to see if I could make use of the DMT in my brain. I did a bunch of research and basically put my own thing together. So Ben’s kind of right that it’s brain washy, but I have been brainwashing myself. Anyway, I am a happier chap these days and very rarely have confrontations with people or situations anymore. So, I guess I’m suggesting DIY spiritualism. This movie should have been more cynical about gurus. Would’ve made for better jokes, or jokes at all. Well, I did like the book titles and Steven Colbert.

So as a veteran of the card game back in the day I will say they had a pretty good balance; the distribution of rares and power levels was fine and the only real reason to chase down this or that was because you wanted an Austin wearing whatever. Thaat said this fucking movie was unendurable, it is easily the most unwatchable shit you have ever featured on this pod and it was delightful to hear you going at it

I've actually seen The Love Guru twice before this was dropped, so there was no chance I was gonna watch-a-long. It was so bad I rewatched it with a friend to essentially prove all the stuff I described to them was real. But the experience was basically comparable to witnessing some wild homeless man shitting on the corner behavior then instead of just leaving it at describing the story to your friend actually dragging them to that homeless man and demanding they drop trou and repeat the experience. So yeah...not watching it again. Fun to hear other people have to watch it though.

Wow, l watched this movie one time with my family of 7, and by the end, everyone left the living room 😂 it was just me and my mom by the end. We both love silly movies, so we finished it, but even we thought this was straight garbage!! But I’m happy to watch it again after so many years with the blank check crew. I don’t even remember what happens in this movie. 🤣 I’m about 10 mins in right now, and I’m already done. But either way, I’m excited! I wonder how much money we all gave this movie? 😂 can’t believe l paid $3 for it.
