Goodbye forever BTH. You will not be missed. May your memory soon be forgotten.

I thought I put up a pretty good fight

Hold up - Ellison gets credit on these because Cameron name checked two episodes of the Outer Limits that Ellison wrote in an interview for this movie. Don’t make it sound like Ellison had no case.

Is it just my earbuds dying or do you guys have an expander in the vocal chain with like a ton of release

The lowest grossing Jake Sully film is actually Babylon

Ooooh re. March madness centered around a theme / story: pitch for Jane Austen adaptations!

Never understood all the flack that the sex scene gets, never really stood out to me compared to others in the 80s (especially low budget genre). But more importantly Sarah already had a shitty shift (and probably past few shifts) at work, was stood up, still had the self/empowerment to go out for pizza, and not only sees a mass shooting (in the 80s), then gradually learns and believes a whole unexpected future is on the horizon (both the war and her son). Plus she spends the night under the bridge, with this person doing everything to protect her, he’s WAY MORE respectful than your stereotypical 80s dude (see: Ginger’s guy), showing he’s not crazy or a threat (easily one of the more loving/caring/safer vibes of spending the night under a bridge with a stranger). So with all the who knows all the brain chemistry Sarah has experienced in the 24 hours leading up to someone (who’s maybe shown her more care/respect than she’s ever experienced) saying to her “i came across time for you”, yea I’d probably be ready to bang too lol. But even more importantly, we as the viewer know their time is running out but within the story they both have reasons to believe they’re to be safe at least for a little while (Arnie wouldn’t have easily found them without the mom phone call)

BIG TIME HERNY

Honk if you’re herny

Thats how I remember him and him playing two different baddies in eps of Buffy

Have to 100% disagree with Griffin and David on Michael Biehn in Tombstone. He was excellent in the film. He wasn’t even the main villain and he clearly outshined Powers Booth. Also he shared a lot of scenes with Kilmer in a role where Kilmer gets to chew as much scenery as he wants and matches him real well when not many of the actors in the movie not even Kurt Russell could.

You gotta crush a terminator. So, Terminator vs. Anaconda?
Lauren Paradise
BTH= big time herny

Now I really want a Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown episode, but it's like me and one other person who wants that.
Jeffrey Malone
Peanuts Movie is great, y'all. Perhaps not as melancholy as the rest of the franchise, but great in its own way
Michael Hashizume
Ben: release the flash picture
Spider-Skull Island
Movies with same story but unrelated are The Last Man on Earth, The Omega Man, and I Am Legend.
Spider-Skull Island
Salvation is arguably a T4

Real fun to get a Matt Johnson call out. Feel like so many Blankies would love their Nirvanna The Band the Show

One of my most visceral memories is standing in line for a midnight showing of this film and being told there was a delay bc they had to clean up the puke from the prior showing. I was nine years old. Incredible. So happy they’re doing this series!!
Kerry Benton
Great episode. Great movie. I was 100% one of those kids who saw this on VHS (RIP Alice in Videoland) several times at an age i maybe shouldn't have and was losing it for T2 when it was announced. More importantly, so much from this movie get's lost in how thoroughly it infused the culture, but man, what a masterclass in straightforward, no-bullshit storytelling. Extremely formative, A++, etc.

Fun fact floppy disks are still used a lot in theatre since it’s the only way to save things on older lightboards

I got so excited when American Dreamer came up in the Box Office Game. My mom and aunts watched that religiously when I was a kid so I’ve got a fondness for it and never hear anyone talk about it.
Rad Rodge
Yeah we do need this, it’ll be incredible

I loved this specifically because I’ve had this exact thought about this player despite not being that much of a soccer guy hahah, every time I’ve reminded myself about the 2002 USA team I’ve been like, oh right, Terminator Guy
Seán Óg Murphy
do I make you herny baby?
David Brown
Can't stop thinking about Sarah Connor saying "mama herny." And it's kinda working for me
DJV
Just want to stick up quickly for The Peanuts Movie: I kinda love it! It’s fun AND poignant! It’s clear that David is more into the comics than the specials (which is fine!); apart from Christmas and (kind of) Great Pumpkin, mostly all of the specials are antic-heavy. And Race for Your Life and Bon Voyage are like ALL bits! (Also both worse than the Martino, I humbly suggest.)
James Jameson
The “duh duh duh dnuh,” is subtly one of the most iconic themes from a movie.
Ben Zaretsky
The final fantasy riffing at around minute 50 is what I’m so here for. My previous favorite riff is the wood planet stuff from alien 3 episode. More of that please!
Raphael Esguerra
Me screaming that Jake Sully was in Babylon!!!
Zwoozy
Please don't use BTH
Amy Plitt
episode where David just talks about subway movies WHEN
Taylor Owens
We need an episode on Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within! Huge blank check movie, and the director’s only feature. It’s a whole Hironobu Sakaguchi miniseries.
Christopher Teuma
Finally an acknowledgement that there are 4 Terminator 3s. So far.

"I'm herny."

I very much appreciate David's references to obscure mid 2000s soccer players

"Clarence! Where's my buddy Clarence?" 🤖🎷

Do we know why David was being so weird about the flash?

I think the Jamie Lee Curtis movie Griffin was thinking of is called Coming Soon
LS
In the midst of the Yentl episode. The producers of Gilligan's Island missed a major opportunity to call the TV movie where they leave the island 'Gilligan Gets Off'

Uh, Let the Los Angeles River Run, send tweet

I guess I was thinking about this episode kinda all week in advance, cause I was listening to the Sirius yacht rock station a couple days ago and Carly Simon came on, You Belong to Me, and I suddenly pictured Linda Hamilton singing it instead and I realized they do look similar, AS DOES Emilia Clarke. We have to confront this confusing reality
Garod Wayman
I always think of Brian Thompson as the cult serial killer leader in Cobra!
