Highlander has proven indeed to be unsuccessful at reiteration. The Equalizer, on balance, HAS been capable of successful reiteration. Highlander, is one. Equalizers, are equal. Both are worthy of further study.

They do. It's just the movies are extremely mid for the genre. You can find Denzel being great in pretty much any action movie he's been in and most of them are more interesting to talk about than The Equalizer series.

Sorry but Highlander is not "bad" in the conventional sense, it is inconsistent and honestly no worse than the Terminator series post T2. Highlander is great Highlander 2 is baffling in all the right ways as a cyberpunk Highlander movie and 3 erases 2 so what more do you want. It's the fun kind of bad...not boring like Equalizer.

Highlander rules, and all the sequels suck — but in fascinating ways that would be fun to discuss! Equalizer is just generic yawnsville. Harmless, competently made programmers that you watch with commercials and everything on a Saturday afternoon while folding laundry.
