Agreed, we're down to a Final Four where none of those guys are the ones I would've wanted out of their quadrant, but I don't know how you avoid the simple fact of people being more likely to vote for a filmmaker they already know something about, rather than wanting something lesser and more niche. It's not like I won't listen to the Lynch episodes, he's a fascinating guy and I know BC will find interesting guests and compelling angles to talk about him. I just don't know how you avoid this outcome unless the gang crafts a bracket with basically no especially popular filmmakers. And perhaps they should!

Enjoyed the dog roaming off leash on this one. I stand with you David, intense Muppet fandom baffles me. I've had people yell at me about how smart and funny they are. Saw the movies as a kid and they were fine, that's about it. However, if you love the muppets I like you and keep in mind I was hoping for an Ernest Vs. Pauly showdown in March Madness.
