This movie is poorly copying "A new hope."
Bridget Coulter
Justice for Clerics!
Janine
Aww finally, i hear the slinky origin
Carol
I guess Freya Allen looks a LITTLE like Sean Clements?
James Young
I walked out of this movie in theaters. Walked into to another theater and watched Unbreakable again
James Young
"Bruce Payne stole the movie" Yeah, but it was petty theft
JF
They just want to eat and watch bad movies can they be nice
Joe Skonce
Started watching Crystal Maze due to this episode and it does in fact slap
Begemott
I had the EXACT same experience with checking the remaining time in this movie....
John Paul
Love David but you could never make me hate South Park 😅
Colin
Slinky = Ace Ventura 2?
Darby Dixon III
r.i.p. snails

I went to see this movie in the theaters. I don't remember why we went. It was somebody's idea to go in college, so we went. It was the closest thing to a real fantasy movie, so that was something. Then came LotR and I went to see each movie at least three times.
ella
be nice or be quiet!
Rad Rodge
Single most unnerving decision in this movie might be the look of the letters in the carving on the headstone. There was a lot of challenging stuff here but that was really something
Rad Rodge
I think this maintains more fun as an ep to listen to than 2 Croc 2 Dund though, the fellas just plain have more to react to in this
Rad Rodge
I have looked it up in the past, it does seem like a cool place
Rad Rodge
I’m so sad that this movie stinks, because Irons is just as fuckin volcanic as I was hoping he would be
The Real Kal-El
David's description of D&D makes me want to not play D&D.
Ashley Schoenfeld
Who are your guys? (Dnd characters)
Sam
Thrilling lunch saga, great work folks
I told Doctor Hall My Butt Hurt. He Told Me To Bend Down, Stuck His Finger In My Asscunt, and said “You Got A Wart”.
Two episodes in, and this is already a disaster. Should’ve done Pulp Heroes. This is a bunch of movies nobody is willing to watch.
Ruairi Carroll
Jeremy Irons bought a CASTLE here in Ireland in the late 90s. I'm guessing the cost of doing it up influenced a lot of his choices
Austin McDougle
Little Man was the movie my grandma took me to thinking it was a children’s movie. This happened 10 years before to my older brother too but she took him to Child’s Play
Marty TC (child-sized Cardassian)
Chicken burrito...
Marty TC (child-sized Cardassian)
The dragon CGI reminds me of the video Rush would play during live performances of "One Little Victory"
Eddie V
I thought they would reveal at the end of the episode that they’ve been rping as each other the whole time! Bu then I remembered that this is no bits podcast!
Brandon Skidmore
I got like 7 mins into this movie and thought “life’s too short” and turned it off.
Tom Lowery
Not since CROCODILE DUNDEE 2 has the level of enthusiasm gone south with such haste.
Jordan B. Anderson
"Apparently it cost money to give the actors notes." is the sickest burn i've ever heard from Griffin
Douglas Wykstra
They should cap this series off with a D&D one-shot.
Douglas Wykstra
This movie's story was subpar (an absolutely baffling outcome for an intellectual property that is basically nothing but a collection of decent story premises), but the saga of the pizza order was absolutely gripping.
Douglas Wykstra
It's like having David read the closing has gradually flipped their identities on the Patreon.
Douglas Wykstra
This comment, like discussion of Dungeons & Dragons, is a Proustian transportation to the Early Internet.
Burke LeFauve
I want them to buy 3 pizzas
Joel Barber
It's always nice to meet another Joel.
Joel Taylor
Joel club! Nice
MoCoSwede
The Galaxy Quest tease! If they don’t want to do it as a standalone episode, they should include it in a Star Trek TNG miniseries!
Ditmarser
That Crystal Maze show sounds pretty incredible.
Anthony Regina
“Kablam!” AND “Super Adventure Team” references before the movie even starts?? Yeah I’m in heaven.
Will H.
i'm sad they didn't catch the main character committing to the quest off screen when they get sucked into a map to talk to a wraith
Anthony Pierre Coco
Would honestly be down for a Patreon Wayans Bros series, if only to hear Marie react to the Terry Crews “Thousand Miles” scene from White Chicks
Rh
The Decider. Coming to ION channel this Fall.
Will H.
i bought it lol
Rhyann Yadao
This came out years after the Hercules and Xena TV shows. And those still look better than this movie
Andrew Jansson
Not since the good D&D movie came out and people accidentally rented this movie, has this movie gotten so many rentals at once. The studio’s going to be baffled by this blip.
Bryce Hendrickson
If you’re coming here to correct anything about what was said about the various D&D classes.. maybe.. don’t?
Donald W Pratt
I mean, it covers a lot more than that.
Donald W Pratt
Mmmm, Battleship next. Get ready for some of the most gloriously stupid, US military masturbatory scenes of all time.
John Blood
Variant human*

I remember seeing this movie in theaters when I was ten years old. My dad knew I liked going to the movies so he would take me to anything that seemed vaguely appropriate. I’m sure my dad was asleep by the time the opening credits were over
JC
South Park is overall always getting a little better. It’s my bird’s favorite show so he has his own iPad and watches it religiously
David Kirk
Chrystal maze was amazing. It was stoned students favourite show.
Winson Paine
So this one is for David because he is probably the only one on the show who will not need it explained but D&D was the source of my first and undeniably best DAD JOKE of my dadding career. I will never out do it. So my kid is born, right, and we are in the delivery room and they are cleaning her up and she is holding my finger with her tiny hand while they clean up the missus and eventually the child is handed to me, my first child being held for the first time and it is magical and I walk over to pass it to my wife and bear in mind I had been up for nearly 48 hours at that point and was pretty gooned because it was a complex delivery and we were all pretty exhausted so that is my mental state and I pass the kiddo over and tell her "good news, i know the kid is human... because she is starting with TWO FEETS" and no one in the room gets it but I was so happy
Joel Taylor
Ya. 2 pizzas! Whats next? A house on the moon? They should have at least asked you first
Burke LeFauve
good to know my money covers ordering a 2nd pizza after sending it to another address 💯
David Kirk
In Britain when the TV re-ran Thunderbirds for the first time for 20 odd years in the 1990s the Tracy Island toys sold out before Xmas. Blue Peter showed you how to make your own with washing up liquid bottles and tin foil. The show was overwhelmed by requests for copies of the instruction sheet for making the model. Eventually the broadcaster stopped sending out the instruction sheets and released a recording of presenter Anthea Turner's demonstration, “Blue Peter Makes a Thunderbirds Tracy Island”, on VHS. https://youtu.be/pzo7K0JpDvI?si=GbFq0HJy45IR7hPo

Let me DM Baldurs Check.

For anyone interested in the history of role playing games, I’ll suggest Playing at the World: A History of Simulating Wars, People, and Fantastic Adventure from Chess to Role-Playing Games by Jon Peterson. There’s also the fantasy comic DIE by Kieron Gillen and Stephanie Hans. A group of adults who were sucked into a DND-esque game world when they were teenagers go back in order to rescue the friend they’d left behind. Guest starring the Brontës and JRR Tolkien. It’s a clean 20 issues.
Storm chaser Jay
Sims describing Jeremy Irons burning a Pop-Tart is the best description I've heard in years
Dalton Johnson
I always listen along maybe I’m alone
