Hot Dogs link no longer works.

Just want to say “Ben Hosley: Bone Origins” would be a great X-Men Origins: Wolverine esque side prequel to the mainline Blank Check franchise.

Kinda crazy how, from 1972 to the present, Danny DeVito has always been The Guy with a Scheme.

My mother was childhood friends with Raffi’s sister.

Unrelated to the episode, but with the premiere of the Paddington 3 trailer there are now enough movies for a Patreon series!! I demand that Ben try a marmalade sandwich on mic and David give us UK trivia, thank you 🍯

I loved Going in Style. Love when I movie I approach as homework turns out to be fun and profound and a new favorite.

The irony of the SNL chat is that the Wiig episode re-ran this past Saturday

Watching Hot Dogs for Gauging made me think, "is/was Brest the best director for an adaptation of A CONFEDERACY OF DUNCES?"

Now I want a Raffi biopic

I love this type of blank check episode where the material is interesting but slight enough to allow for lotsa other chat. Raffi rules. I was at Disneyland with my friends and their toddler and found out they had never heard of raffi, let alone played him for their child. “You don’t know baby beluga???” Raffi is so compelling a subject it is Griffin who leads David back on track to the movie. And a cinematrix game to top it off. 🧑🍳💋

That would’ve been on the soundtrack for the OC but it just hadn’t come out yet, so it was on Gossip Girl and its soundtracks couldn’t have the same impact

Shooting at Zeppelins is definitely a circa-2008 Pitchfork-y band I would’ve listened to

So we’re just taking incognito mode mulligans on Cinematrix? That’s cool I guess

Don't forget "The Maiden Heist" in the genre of Morgan Freeman old guy heist movies

Cannot agree with these Oingo Boingo notes. Dead Man’s Party is one of the great bops

Excited about the ‘Boy Genius’- Blank Check subtype Griffin sets up here. Would Burton qualify?

I definitely mistook David’s account of the Hindenburg photo as someone accidentally **shooting** the Hindenburg. Like some sharpshooter is thinking “oh that’s a nice shot, I guess I’ll take it as an experiment.” lol
