Do my own movie podcast now, but our format is shifting back and forth between the 100 highest rated and 100 lowest rated films as voted by IMDb uses. No Lynch on either list, which is a little sad, but I could slip one in as we do get birthday picks (guess I ripped that off from P:TR).

I use a 2005 iPod mini that I found lying around the house, and it works (mostly) fine. I bet a refurbished one would do the job nicely. I did have to buy a new charger for it but it was only like $8 on Amazon.

Guys when I was 14 I stumbled upon the premier of Twin Peak and I never missed and episode for 2 years. Own the soundtrack on cassette. I'm currently rewarewatching the original series and the wave of nostalgia that are crushing my soul are unbearable. I cannot believe the caste the assembled for this. About 30% of the episodes have that perfect lynchian weirdness that makes me a 14 YO again.

I keep a few albums on my phone at any given time! I use MusicBee on my PC to manage my library and DoubleTwist on my Pixel. I also use DoubleTwist as my podcast app. Neither are as good as old iTunes + iPod, but what could be. Also, I have a few invites to Redacted (formerly PassTheHeadphones), which is currently the best private torrent tracker for music. An inferior successor to the late, great What.CD. Technically "publicly giving away invitations is prohibited," but this is sort of a private community? DM me if you're interested.

David's solution is an older Android phone that supports Micro SD cards. Slap in a 500gb card in one. Delete or disable every app that isn't the default music player or find a decent music player app (I have one literally just called Music Player). Yes, you'll need to download all your stuff from an official website or go through the effort to torrent it or whatever. If you haven't maintained your personal download library for the last like 15 years it will suck ass to start over, but I never stopped. It's been worth it.
