Honestly hope muppets win the whole thing just for Christmas Carol. I have watched that every Christmas since before memory and enjoy it every year. Anyone who watches it with me has to hear me complain about how the Disney + version ruins it by cutting the song “When love is gone”. The upbeat ending song “When love is found” makes no sense without the sad song in the middle! It ruins the entire film!

I want David to watch muppets and question his life choices. Also I meet a man who looked exactly like a member of Electric Mayhem it was a distraction at work. He was thankfully good natured about it when I showed him the image and he laughed and his wife was like omg you do look like him (they were European and had never seen the muppets)

I'm afraid Python just isn't in the air anymore. As an Ancient Blankie, I grew up watching Flying Circus on PBS, and it turned me into the twisted figure I am today. Monty Python is feels weirdly under discussed so there’s some fun stuff they could get into (Holy Grail reusing all of Polanski’s Macbeth costumes/sets, George Harrison mortgaging his house for Life of Brian, etc). I get not all the Pythons are good guys but that can be discussed too
