I’ve seen some of it. It’s not insulting to Lynch, but a little heavy handed. No one needs it, except Oz/Lynch completists. I do recall Griffin bringing it up in a dismissive manner, but I thought it brings two series together in interesting way. I doubt it happens as you say.

the extended prince of thieves version helps significantly (imo) Costner is literally the only bad thing about that movie and most of the extra stuff is Rickman scenes with him chewing scenery. Its a win-win

I'll gladly listen to 1 ep explaining a fever dream, 1 ep being a funkier version of that, and 3 eps somehow being world-building sequels TO A FEVER DREAM over the same story told over and over with diminishing returns... after "fuckable fox." (I was SO high when I saw Crowe's RH in theaters that the rhythmic thumping of the bass put me to sleep within 10 minutes.)

They expressed a bit of indifference to that doc in one of the Lynch eps. Along the lines of the premise of it being “wow, Lynch really liked that movie and alluded to it in his own art” and not much else. I haven’t seen it so I have no opinion, but I clocked that and it makes me think they’d be reluctant.

Yeah, no way they don't do Brooks at some point, and Robin Hood and Dracula share so many characteristics, since they both occur on the heels of a major new adaptation of that story, are primarily drawing on the iconic 1930s version, and aren't top-tier Brooks, that I'm not sure there's quite enough meat on that bone. I'll give it up for that Abbott and Costello gag, though.
