I voted for Scream because, A) I just did a rewatch and all I could think about is what can BC add. B) And it would alot of fun because they're incredibly watchable and they're likely going to drop around Halloween. BUT PKD along with Vonnegut was my shit when I was a wee teen. And PKD has some killer options I'd love for them to discuss...especially A Scanner Darkly. I've read about 75% of his short stories and books, even his non science fiction books like Voices from the Street so I have a massive soft spot (hard-on?) for some Dick, so while I want Scream I am not sad to see PKD move on. ...even if it mean Adjustments Bureau

PKD got way too close to winning last time it was up. It kind of says something about the podcast listeners how March madness used to be won by more surprise series that hadn't been talked to death and now it's stuff like Kubrick and making people suffer through a bunch of bad movies to hear bladerunner be talked about for the eight billionth time. I really hope something more fun wins.

Here’s my hot take — Griffin should watch them before. Ultimately they are murder mysteries and a lot of the metatextual observations are done via dialog. I think it’ll be very hard to track while watching for the first time. Especially if then David has to be coy on who the killer is.

This is genuinely a hard one for me: the Dick Flicks are great, but honestly the movies I actually want to pay attention to aren't the best commentaries (imo) Meanwhile, Scream is also a decent set of movies and there's so much commentary about the history of horror/film in there, but if the guys don't know that without research they could just be reacting to kills

I wish there was a way to see the French adaptation of Confessions of a Crap Artist easily. I used to have a VHS of it, dunno if it’s ever been released digitally. It’s better than most of the PKD SF adaptations.

Scream works much better as mainline eps with a dossier than comms. They're such a crucial part of Craven's second and third act as a filmmaker, commentaries would not do them justice. 3 can't be a commentary, that needs a 27 page dossier
