we both had fun with it at the time but it's definitely on the lower end of Lindelof's work and i (Hannah) found the finale pretty damn embarrassing. people who complain about the Lost finale are fighting the wrong Lindelof battle

we watched it together! i (Hannah) was definitely finding the first few episodes hit and miss. i think it's like... midway through the third episode that it really started clicking for me and maturing into something really, really good. very Pynchonesque, made us cry multiple times, understands Christ better than any other piece of pop art i've seen. i'd say it's worth giving another shot, and if you're still not feeling it by the end of episode three, it's probably not for you

OK. I now have a reason to finally commit to watching this. I started the first episode in 2019, but stopped. I think it was partly because I didn't like Lindelof's Watchmen sequel. For curiosity sakes, did either of you watch that? I found it tedious, and I think its flaws line up pretty well with the "prestige" tv you have criticized occasionally on this show.
