Big news! After a five-month sprint, we're finally dropping a brand-new PRE-ALPHA build and, honestly, we're buzzing with excitement. We're all ears for what you've got to say – love it, hate it, or anything in between, we want to hear all the juicy details. We want to show you the progress made on several gameplay systems. While this build is not indicative of final quality, we want to give you the opportunity to experience the world at its various in-progress stages.
Today's a big one, we're rolling out the first chapter that launches you straight into Virtual Little Tokyo, plus a sneak peek at Sandbox V3. It's still baking in the oven, but we're letting you taste-test because your patience has been greatly appreciated, and we want to hear your feedback! We're super curious about how the user experience is feeling for everyone, and, of course, what we can do better.
One of the things we think is most exciting in this build: You'll finally get to encounter some of the Corruption for the first time! This first fight is a bit silly, so please have fun with it. (You might actually die. Yes, its a bug. Yes, we are fixing it.) There's also cyber city vibes and little treats tucked away for you to discover. We’re excited to hear you share your experiences over in the Discord.

This is a Pre-Alpha build, so there is definitely going to be scuff. If you prefer a cleaner experience, we recommend waiting for the hotfixes that will be coming in the next 3 weeks.

Known issues
Stream missing Chat Window
Loading a save game into combat section will make the enemies docile and make you unable to progress the story.
Old save files will not work.
save menu might need to be closed and reopened for the save files to be refreshed.
Mel really values her personal space in the elevator at the onsen, so let her get in and settled before joining her. Same with letting her get to her apartment door’s keypad (her passcode is private!)
Once you’re done marveling at System 32’s badassery, make sure you head straight to Blair’s Lab. Going back the way you came will trigger the previous loop to start again and prevent progression
Fighting back against enemies may trigger game-over. (SAVE BEFORE APPROACHING)
Some of System 32's dialogue is not firing correctly. No, you are not talking to yourself.

Added another story section up to Blair's lab.
City is now buzzing with bald life and traffic.
Spiced up the starting house with some NICE images.
Major sandbox rework with a lot of juicy action you can have with a lot of different characters. Press Q to activate during exploration sections.
Early combat preview with enemies.
Backend
Changed our save files and save system so much that old save files will not work. But, we can handle a lot more data now and a lot better.
Revamped our old progression systems to a new and more sexy custom system that is easier to work with.
Streaming story section gotten a extreme performance fix.
A lot of performance fixes done for the city and other parts.
AI Rework. Not much to say here except they should be smarter now. Especially with navigation and dynamic obstacles.

So, just wanted to make sure that what’s going on is a bug and not just an effect of the game being in early stages. When I put on clothes the first time in Digital little Tokyo, it just kinda cuts and suddenly I have a mission to go to Blair’s lab? Brushing that off, I tried to continue, I went down the elevator because that’s the only thing I could think of. About ten or so steps out of the elevator I get teleported to what I assume by the dialogue from Melody And Melware is supposed to be a fight scene, but there’s no enemies and melody is just kinda floating up and down above a box. I’m fairly sure something is wrong! For clarification sake, I downloaded from the WETRANSFER link

Its a known issue. We had this tested by Lovense too and they couldnt replicate the issue on their end.

Its a understandable question to ask! Due to the somewhat slower nature of patreon funded game development its hard to set a EXACT release date. That said we aim for a overall development time for ANBW comparable to typical AA games which is around ~5 years. You can do the estimate / math from there <3

No lovense support in sandbox YET, working on it with the next update. Oral stuff is also relatively far out since we´re currently mostly working on the 1v1 sex animations

Are sandbox animations working? Currently I haven't been able to move camera and animations are still. Also, story seems to break once on the way to Blair's lair is that normal / the end point?

Its on our todo list, sadly some sections use "legacy" systems we can only replace slowly over time. Moving forward we did changes though to how the camera works and you will be able to see the result of this in the next build <3

First time trying a lewd game and even though it's in alpha, it was still fun and "enjoyable" but I will mention some issues/problems playing: -With the lovense remote, I tried using the desktop version with lovense's bluetooth usb and it worked but was unstable plus it crashed the game, so I just used the phone version then everything was smooth. -Beginning scene, it says to press any button and doing such action doesn't work, good thing there's that little timer (I think that's what that was) -Sometimes Mel just broke and didn't want to work but reloading fixed it. -The sandbox, little clunky and the 3rd person didn't work. -The blur. sometimes in certain s@x positions, all I could see was blur, on that some s@x positions didn't work. Some funny moments happened while going to Blair's lab: -Melody feet being 2 to 3 inches in the ground. -The NPCs just being halfway in the ground. -Arriving at Blair's lab door and Melody just ran away but still broke in. -Mel just phasing through things. That's all I can remember off top of my head but besides all that, everything was basically fine. So I hope with any of what I mentioned could help and I'm looking forwards to the future of ANBW and it's journey and best of luck to everyone in Big Bang with developing Melody's lewd dreams.

Cause i found how to enter the sandbox mode. But no clue how to control anything besides the sliders at the top. Nearly all the poses show a blur on screen due to cam position. Is there a free floating cam mode?

So I downloaded the new version and deleted the old version, but for some reason it keeps the 5.0.1 still?

Not sure where I should put this so I’ll just put it here. I’ve had a few times where I try to get through the intro segment by starting with character creation and Mel will lead me to the elevator and just never go down. When I did get it to work, and the mc and Mel go back to the elevator, once again, she doesn’t press the button, and pressing it yourself will bring you back to the roof. Either way, both softlock the game (I was holding v or c to skip text if that helps with bug squashing).
