Our head of production is german himself and is owning a steam copy of Subverse :3 There are plenty of ways around that problem. The issue is NOT StudioFOW, it lies with Steam not understanding that USK is exclusive for content that requires an AGE RATING. ADULT ONLY content does not require an Age Rating and is NOT reviewed by the USK. Meaning you technically can sell it, but you have to use an Age Verification Method in line with german law for adult only content and back when steam made the calls that they made, they simply didnt want to do THAT. I already made a few proposals to our friends over at StudioFOW about this and who knows ... maybe you´ll see another post about this soon-ish xD

At the time only option is to try and reach out to the devs. I did surface some solutions to them in recent conversations that we have planned for our own 1.0 release :3 :3

Technically not "banned" in germany, just not allowed to be shown on STEAM. I´ve been talking with the devs and surfaced some solutions to them that we are aiming to use for OUR steam release in germany :D
