Looking For Ideas for Patreon
🕑 Added 2022-02-12 08:48:26 +0000 UTCI'm looking to step up my game a bit here and looking for ideas I can use. So far I'm thinking of revisiting old material and spicing it up a bit with the new style and maybe adding more. Also considering doing compendiums of material (e.g., "All Miscellaneous RPM Spells 1-13"). That's all I got for now. Tell me, what do you want to see me do more of?

That's actually a really great idea. I wrote that book in about 8 hours. Hmmm. Yes. This is a good idea

I really enjoyed Monster Hunters Encounters #1. I guess this kind of three pages mini-adventures would be pretty good for a Patreon. Same could be done with short Hot Spots-like articles, which could even be serialized.

A podcast would be interesting, even a short-ish one by general topic allowing for some digressions. A few bullet points covered and ruminated on organically, rather than read directly off a script would be most interesting and more natural/conversational IMO. As far as compendiums, I'd love one, mostly because I'm frequently out of the loop and miss many of the releases before they're taken down which makes me feel like I'm missing some of the benefits I'm technically a supporter of; then of course, all the stuff that came before I have no opportunity to purchase/obtain. But that's on me, and I'm probably in the minority on that. I don't know if it's practical. Also, I'm another interested in more of your perspectives on Path/Book magic, possibly even general outlines of differing Realm structures. More social stuff. Advice as far as how you'd game out more specific scenarios people might find complicated or involved as opposed to broad, generalized advice (examples showing off your real play processes, rather than strictly mechanical write ups of abilities/spells/etc.). OK, I'm out of pennies!
