Nice mod! The cars look great and drive well compared to the older versions. However, the Williams and Super Aguri can't seem to drive and just do burnouts when trying to, and also it stutters way too much during a full grid race, probably due to the williams and super aguri generating so much smoke

Thanks a lot for sending these over! I’ll fix the Alonso issue and the Ferrari NT for Brazil in the next update. I’ll also look into the BMW issue. If you spot any other details in this season or the others, feel free to share them, it really helps a lot, especially with around 160 cars in total so far :)

Should the ferrari brazil skin have marlboro sponsors on it? Didn't they run the NT version? And also for some reason if you don't delete the "]" from the end of the driver model name from every alonso skin.ini, the helmets and suits don't show up. And the final problem I noticed is that it doesn't matter what brake bias I choose on the BMW, the rear wheels still lock up, even with max front brake bias. Otherwise great work!

Hola! Siempre es mejor instalar manualmente, ya que Content Manager a veces da errores. Gracias por tu feedback, la temporada 2006 se actualizará pronto a la version 5.0 y podrás acceder sin problema cuando esté lista. Por cierto, como ves en la sección Collection, las temporadas están separadas para que puedas probar la que quieras antes. Si te gusta la calidad, lo ideal es que te suscribas: así me apoyas y accedes a todos los mods.

Hola he comprado la versión 4.0 y Williams no funciona cuando hagas la actualización podre descargarla gratis? Otra duda recomiendas instalar en el administrador de contenido o mejor hacerlo en la capeta de mod de assetto corsa?

Hi, you need to install the driver files into the driver folder on Assetto Corsa, you can find it on Assetto Corsa > content > driver and drop the files there, otherwise you can drop the driver folder into content manager, it should recognise each driver and sort the issue, let me know if you still need help afterwards.

Everything is working fine except for one problem. For all the 2006 cars, the liveries all appear perfectly but none of the drivers look right. None of the race suits are appearing and the driver's head looks like a nondescript blond guy with a weird milquetoast helmet clipping halfway through their heads and into their bodies. Is this anything you can help with?

Hi Diego, try refreshing the page multiple times, unfortunately, ShareMods and ModsFire can be a bit unreliable at times. MEGA was completely abandoned due to extremely slow downloads for non-paying users.

Very good mod nothing bad to say about it but one slight issue. When you do a race the cars are pitting every 2/3 laps. Please fix that

I noticed that once again, sorry to say that the new 2006 f1 cars look marvelous my man, but that hairline space between the tire an the track is there, i still love the cars they are a work of art indeed, is there any way you can fix this in a small update like you did a little while back, it would be surely appreciated.

Thanks Jacob, this is an issue currently being fixed, is due to the new colliders, seems they are very complex for what AC can handle, it will be updated soon! for now the best thing to do is lower the graphics settings a bit.

i'm testing right now, yes graphically the weels don't touch the ground for millimeters maybe something related the y axis value in the collider.ini; btw: good physix, great models, maybe a little low engine volume sound in cockpit (but just just a little). For these small fix (as the McLaren brand F2006 instead F1 2006 as the others) can i suggest to prepare a fix.zip separate from the general new repack? it'll be very heavybto redownload and reinstall the whole mod 🤪

Beautiful mod, but i noticed that the tires are a little bit above the racetrack when going around the track in replay mode, doesn't look grounded, can this be fixed?

Hi Jacob, thanks for your comments, the download has to be in 3 parts since the cars have lots of liveries for almost all circuits so in total is quite heavy, will see how to fix this. Also the mclaren detail being separated will be fixed ASAP, you meant the Honda won't show in 'brands' when selecting the cars right?

the installation wasn't fun I don't know if there's a reason why you can't put it on one file and after having to install each car one by one the McLaren is separated from the cars the Honda won't show. but it does feel better to drive and look better hope you can fix the installation problems

Hey Trebor, thanks very much for your feedback you can always delete extra skins that you think are not relevant so the size can be reduced and leave around 2 per driver, moreover I will take a look on how to reduce the size so it can be around 25gb at max, thanks again for your feedback!

I just gave this a go in the Ferrari at Silverstone. i use an OSW/Mmos 20nm dd and play AC all the time and one of the quick drivers in LFM. My thoughts: - there's a strange white outline to the car model, around the tyres and bodywork. Not sure what the issue is graphically. - out the box I had to reduce the incar ffb gain down to 30-40. For some reason the ffb doesn't scale at all like it should, so to avoid clipping there is very little strength/weight to the wheel to avoid clipping at high speed corners. As a result its missing all the detail of the regular kunos f2004 ffb for example. - the baseline setup is ultra pointy and weird. After a few minor tweaks and about 8 laps of testing i get to a 1.31.0 at Silverstone. The level of grip mechanical vs Aero doesn't really make a lot of sense, there is too much aero and not enough mechanical. The point at which the grip level changes is also far too exponentail, it goes from crazy levels of grip at high speed to not much grip at all in low speed. - the steering lock/degrees appears to be set way too high. - the brakes are far too easy to lock, even at lowest brak pressure.

Hi, just so you know the Renault R26 is too fast, on Content Manager it says it has 1000 bhp when it should have 790 like the others. And it shows in game, I did a 12 lap race and in the first couple laps the Renault’s had created a 15 second gap. With that being said I’d rate the F1 2006 mod a solid 8/10. Sorry for wall of text.

The collision physics on the cars needs a lot of work. If you collide with a wall with a bit of speed, it will send the car to space and the physics engine will freeze up.

I've been having a problem while going on straights, the wheel feels very light and when cornering it just gets way to heavy. All the other mods work perfect but this one behaves a bit weird.

Is it me or is the 2006 not very confidence inspiring? Cars are too nervous down the straights, take off front wing and then you understeer. I was trying low downforce at Monza and forget it, I was crawling. The rear just goes away. The only time the car is drivable is full rear wing with somewhere in the middle front wing and then lose all straight line speed. I found all the other years good though. The cars look wonderful though, just feel very wonky.

The power loss for Toro Rosso and Toyota have been corrected, wet and Intermediate tires for Renault are still being added plus other fixes on many cars, appreciate the patience!

Hi, everything is fantastic, graphics, skins and textures, excellent work... but the problems of power loss in seventh gear of the Toyota and Toro Rosso have not yet been resolved, even though I have reported the problem several times; for Renault, on the other hand, there are no wet tires... My friend, everything's perfect. I just got a problem, the helmets are a little under the driver's head, showing a bit of the head itself, it's very weird. Also they're white, so I think I did something wrong. Do you have any ideias on how to fix?
