I just went around spa and I was 4 tenths faster then the real lap pole time. I am more mid driver so is the car maybe to fast? Could you check the physics? Would be great

That's good to know! Try to download it again, some updates have been made to the car, toned down the chrome paint, fixed some issues on tyres, textures and on the 3D model.

i have fixed the issue with the tire textures as i didn't realise i had to turn on the tire fx part of csp its fine

Hey mate, try to change the anisotropic filtering to 16x, is either that or you have to set the texture quality to High or Max, *Settings> Assetto Corsa> Video> Anisotropic Filtering. It can also be the Post processing config on Graphic Adjustments, I have that one disabled if that helps, let me know how it goes.

what's with the massive performance gap between the f1.08 and this? The f1.08 is always around 3 seconds off

I tried a fresh install and the body and paint is still the same

That is correct for both cars in terms of tire textures and seeing wet tires.

Alright got it, I will check everything and make these changes as there shouldn't be any Michelin on the data of the car, also you can only see wet set of tyres even selecting the others correct?

The problem is still there and i beleive its the same with the bmw f1.08 as well. The f1.08 has a green hue to the tires as well and in the description in the ui the tires say michelin ss, not bridgestone ss for example. Same issue as the mp4-23 of not appearing as a grooved slick as well only wet treaded tires. Still a vast improvement on anything else .

Sounds good although i wouldn't really do much to them as they are good enough as they are i beleive. Just im not sure about the tire textures and having wet tires on all the time and not looking like the tires in the pictures. Unless im missing something. Also unfortunetatley a d fortunately i have seen the car in real life.

Hey Luke, thanks for your feedback! I’ll tone down the chrome to make it look more realistic. As for the physics, an update is coming in the next couple of days to improve it even further a notification will be sent to everyone once is ready.

The mod is a good mod. Physics feel fine and are realistic. The chrome finish needs work as it looks like its literally liquid silver on the car. Also it looks like wet tires are on the car even though i have the sofest dry compounds on. The chrome im not sure if thats because i have pure and sol latest versions and its the lighting that doing that.

This is probably a CSP setting that sometimes affects the paint on certain cars. I'll check it out and let you know how to fix it.
