2006 Renault F1 Team R26 | v2.0 Release
🕑 Added 2025-06-22 20:25:31 +0000 UTCHi everyone! the most refined version of the 2006 Renault F1 Team R26 in Assetto Corsa is now available! The last championship-winning car from Renault, a V8 beast driven by Fernando Alonso and Giancarlo Fisichella, the machine that secured both the Drivers' and Constructors' titles.
This has been made possible through a collaboration with the talented artist behind the BMW Sauber F1.08, Adrian, Spectron Racing Team, Prophetimus and The Race Project, delivering a glimpse of what eventually the complete 2006 season will bring.

Removed unnecessary files to reduce mod size and improve loading times.
Updated physics data by Didier Bestard, addressing several suspension-related issues.
Refined suspension positioning based on updated data by Cimmerian Iter.
Fixed and improved AI wet tyres for better performance in wet conditions.
Added new liveries: Canada, Shanghai, Mild Seven, and Alonso's 2020 Abu Dhabi Showrun.

β’ IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT TYRE TEXTURES!!!
To make sure the tyres work properly for the 2006 season mod, you need to drop the tyres.zip file into the following folder:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\extension\textures\carsFollow the exact path above, if the files are placed in the wrong location, the tyres will not appear correctly in-game.

Theyβre coming in future updates hopefully v2.0. The whole 2006 season was upgraded to match the R26βs level of detail, which wasnβt an easy task, but itβll be worth the wait.

having issues w the paint of the car. when u start driving it disconnects from the car with this graining effect. I have a video showing the issue.
