I love the idea of that, but how is sound mixing going to behave with this function added? Recently for fun & practice I mixed the song with the public cutscene & it's a bit scuffed transitioning into the puppet show; I'm wondering how the bits will be cut.

Amazing! It's one of my favorite songs and since I heard a little preview with the orchestra before, I got really excited. Now that I've heard it all, I can say that it's beautiful, since I love the orchestra! I send you my regards and wish you the best of luck with the development of the game :D

Ok so, slightly complicated answer, bare with me So Scrimshaws song has a unique twist. It has 6 different versions. So each time you play it will be randomised what song and what puppet show you get. It's a singing treasure map. So you get 2 hints/riddles per song in the form of lyrics. For the streaming release we wanted to extend the song to have all the puzzle hints. However, when you extend the song to include all those verses, it becomes stale to listen to. So Daniel added a bridge segment to break it up, the parts where all the different cat pirates go "its the worst, its the worst, its the worst, its the worst!...." But we really liked the new bridge, so we will add the new bridge to the game, extending the in game cutscene and song by about 20 seconds. So technically each verse will be in the game still, its just random which 2 you'll get! Hopefully that made sense

I already fell in love with the short midi version, but this? It just blew me away <3 Is the full version planned to be used in the game or will it just be the short cutscene we know already? Whatever it turns out to be later in the finished game, can't wait to see it :D

I adored this song before I didn’t think it could get any better yet here we are with this absolute BANGER dude I’ve always loved big dramatic instrumentals so this is right up my alley you guys did such a good job with this especially with extending the song anyone who didn’t know before wouldn’t even be able to tell it’s been extended and the orchestra holy moly the orchestra everything was just pure stunning I’m even more excited to see how this plays out for the game as well as just hearing the full lengths of the other songs too
